Albert; According to the reviews, it seems that Samsung doesn't claim these functions(file viewer, java-usb installation, etc) in D900-i. Also it is a new phone, so NO CHANCE that flashing with a new version will solve the problems
And I don't know whether D900 firmware works with D900-i ???

Tals I have the D900 and also the Jabra 620.
They work fantastic and I play off the memory card.
I drove from Amsterdam to Brussels and used them the whole way and battery was half full when I arrived.
What is great about the Jabra 620's is I also use them with my home PC......can walk around the whole house, perfect sound.

you answered most of my questions and yes, i agree the Jabra BT620s are amazing.
i just wish someone with D900i will supply the same info that you have.
i was also happy to know about the radio and A2DP.

regading D900i A2DP:
1. Did anybody hear music from the memory card using A2DP? (my D600 does not support it).
2. Is there an option to hear Radio via A2DP?
(i know the wired earphones has to be connected but this is no contradiction).
3. Did anybody use A2DP with Jabra BT620s?
4. how much time can i stream A2DP from battery perspective?
5. what is the sound quality using A2DP?

I bought this phone 2 weeeks ago today, it is a brillant phone, i Paid £109.99 (around $220) as it was on offer, but due to high demand, its back up to £129.99 (approx $260) Link: http://shop.o2.co.uk/phone/Samsung/D900i , When i walked into phones4u the other day, the samsung D900 Black Sim free was £299.99 ( For you america users, Approx $600, I bought this phone off o2, And i think it is great value for money, my other option was The New Sony Ericsson K810i, The cameras are pretty similar, and i like the slide-up design, I would give this phone a 9.5/10, The games are all demos and you have to save the numbers onto the phone OR the sim, if you save onto both, 2 of the same numbers comes up. A truly great phone, and value for money.

you type the code just like you type the number to call, when you finish it phone will(automatically) either tell you an information about it self or take you to a secret options/menu where you modify(volume, call settings, java...) it. If nothing hapens it means that the code is typed wrong or it is wrong!
I hope this sattisfies your question.

Attention all:
Greedy bastard company and the worse gsm phone of the year.
You pay over 160£ which is about 310$ and what you get is a samsung x150 + the worse 3.2 digital camera on the market
This is definitely not high end phone!!!
I asked about changing themes and games to samsung
"In response to your email, the theme on your phone will change depending
on your location and the timeof day. It also has short animations for
recieving messages and otherfunctions of the phone. The document
viewer software that is in the D900 model is not in the D900i. Also,
games cannot be installed by using the java file, they must be paid for
and downloaded from Internet or WAP sites such as the Samsung FunClub.
If this is not done, the games will not work."
Again dont ever consider buying this!
I wont ever buy from samsung anymore after this episode and recommend to all others too.
If you however want to buy something buy the old models as they are much better than this new series. Please if you know someone tell him/her about all the defects this phone has before buying.

the d900i can play.mp4 format,but if the title of the video/track or anything else is too long the phone won't recognize it...shorten down the title of the video and it will be ok

i have try download .mp4 file in my mem card but cant see the file on my phone.
so far it can oni play .3gp file.

hi,
i've been using this phone for 2 gays now but I can't seem to install any java games....i have followed Rajesh's tutorial but at the last stem when i press serial download the screen goes blank and at the left softkey appears"launch"but nothing happens if I press it...pls help

Generally the phone is alrite
less the message alert...those default one are too soft..oni the vibration is strong. so got to feel instead of hear...
Anyone can help as in can download other louder message tone anot?...thks a million...
