Hello people..pls I need ur help... I have this phone D900i since a week ..and I'm very dissapointed ..the battery lasts 1 Day!!! When I set up a mp3 for incoming calls it's not so loud..so I don't hear it..autofocus in camera ..to me it's not..My friend has A Sony ericsson with 2 Mpx camera and it is much better than mine..
Hi Rajesh, have you managed to crack this d900i yet? i still haven't managed to download the java games onto it via usb cable... pls help...
Crazie_Boy, so for a start, please answer the 2 questions put here by CEEP, a few posts below.....
I have just bought the Samsung D900i and I must say that it is quite a nice little phone.
If you have any questions regarding this phone just ask.
does anyone know if the d900i seriously has 3 hours talk-time battery life? Because that's a serious let down.. the d900 had 6 and a half hours..
2 cameras ?? Why? only one is needed for taking photos/videos?
Are you planning to shoot simultaneously with 2 cams?
Anyway, I think you'll find NOT more than one camera in this handset.....
Emmy; U600 is also good. It has more features than D900 and also the FM radio. The problems are battery life of U600 is worse than that of D900, camera lag is also said to be more etc.
You guys have provided a lot of info, I have the d900i and I'm actually reconsidering getting the d900 because of a few minor things, but Rajesh what do you think about the u600?
I like to take photos. So far, the photo i take using D900i is not bad. If u compare it with K800i, there is not much different when the area is bright. It make a lot different in the dark ( no light at all)...coz K800i is using xenon flash. Cant compare as the price oso different a lot.
I find tat the screen resolution and colour is better than K800i( my wife is using it).
Design wise, D900i is definately more classy. Its so much lighter. Its just look like a mp4 player without sliding up. Cool...
Overall, I buy D900i as I wan other design than "candy-bar" design phone. I like the phone very much...
To silent ur camera, u can do it by:
1. during the camera mode, press the "back" and go to the "setting".
2. choose the camera. inside there u can change the quality, shutter sound, auto-focus, etc...u can set the video setting oso.
Using the "auto-focus" can take better photo than "pan-focus".
Andy, The easiest way is to press and hold # in standby to enter silent mode before you start camera
can any one
How to INSTALL JAVA GAMES & APPS
PC Studio cant do that.
And How it Reads PDF,
WORD, Power POint Documents.
I heard that there is a program called
PICSEL VIEWER in D900i that
reads those documnets,
but there is no such Program.
Please can someone tell me how to turn off the shutter sound on in take picture mode, i'm finding it hard to take sly photos of women without this making it real obvious
(Refer my post below. I forgot to add the link. Here it is)
I mean images transferred from pc. Otherwise, you can zoom or view full screen with images taken with ITS CAMERA only. To know more, click the below link and download the help guide-it is prepared by me, for D900 users- and refer TIP 34
regarding abrar - he stopped cooperating.
i sent him two person messages and he does not answer.
thanks you for sharing all the phone's bugs.
i knew most of them except for:
"You can't view full screen/zoom external images". can you please elaborate?
what do you mean by "external imeges"?
I think this problem can be solved. Following that link, I saw your post in howard forums, with reference to abrar's post. I suggest you to make another post there, suggesting abrar to try the following two things and give a feedback:
1. In the bluetooth menu/my devices, select jabra bt 620s and from options, select 'AUTHORISE DEVICE'.
2.Always activate bluetooth in phone first and then only turn on jabra.
But I would like to caution you about some bugs in D900-i;
1.The document viewer is not included in it
2.You can't view full screen/zoom external images, because picsel file viewer is absent
3.It is not possible to install java through usb.
All the above are possible in D900, but it has no FM radio.
