Looks like a handsome and sturdy one ... but What is the difference of this phone to the d900 aside from the FM radio? any tweaks to the battery life?

Don't look at the quality until you download it, copy to phone and set as wallpaper...

ha ha ..this is phone just sucks! the battery life is absolutly inexistent!!if ur not doing anything it keeps u 3-4 days ..the pics resolution it's worst than than a 2 mp camera from any sony-ericsson model...what u get? a nice design ....hmm for me it feels like a normal phone that has been crossed over by a big truck ..and now it's big and hidious :)) and even if it's kind of slim it's really really big !!

Why should samsung have an 800mAh battery .. I am always concerned about the battery life of Samsung phones and I see that they have never improved it

The new model sports not so many differences from the basic D900. The main first thing you will come across is that the missing radio, which many were craving for, is now built in. The revamp of the camera’s interface is not particularly crucial – it is more of a consistent step that will emerge in the upcoming devices to even greater extent. Probably, one more function is worth mentioning, which wasn’t available before. This is so called Whisper Mode that can be enabled during a call – guessing from the name you could assume that with this on, the handset ensures some sort of privacy for calls, but the things stand quite different. The microphone changes its sensitivity in this mode, which is interesting when taking in noisy rooms, at parties etc., people on the other end do notice enhancements. At the same time the earpiece starts outputting louder sound, which is gets worse in fact, but provides more clarity in return. None of the manufacturers has come up with the Whisper Mode counterpart up until now.

Thanks for that Rajesh, i really like the u600 but it takes so long to focus when taking a picture and i also can't transfer my pics and vids on to my pc via bluetooth dongle so was hoping i would find the d900 easier, think i might need to look around x

KIRSTY; when you are migrating from U600 to D900 or D900i, know that 1.it cannot take pic or video directly to memory card;only to 60MB phone memory 2.You can't use any external tones for message alert-neither mp3 nor any other- only the default tones 3.there are no ringing profiles or its equivalent. 4.D900 has no FM radio(visit that page also)Apart from these, I'll recommend D900(you said D900i is not available with vodafone)
