When I use a microSD card 1gig with D900i, and set USB to mass storage mode, it shows up on my PC but keeps saying insert disk in to drive E. Can somebody help me why..? eventhough the phone shows memory card option in myfiles, when I select it, it says "not allowed". Please help !

i just recently bought d900i. slim design is cool. i'm a heavy texter and battery life is two days. video, games, camera uses much energy and GREATLY shortens the battery life which is too bad bec i limit my use of other features just to save on battery life- meaning other features are useless. 3 mega pixel is ok but should be taken under good lighting, otherwise, picture quality suffers. Sending texts is also a hassle because of the many steps necessary.

Re. Document Viewer. My D900i is for SE Asian market and did not come with Document Viewer. This was confirmed through searching Samsung Support pages. No reason why it was not included. Relative to cost, it's a very nice phone and I am happy with it.

When connected to PC Studio, the phone act as a modem and you can explore only the phone's memory. For viewing mem card data, go to menu/settings/phone settings/usb settings and select 'MASS STORAGE' the memory card will be shown as a removable disk in 'My Computer'. You can copy/paste as usual.Before removing the cable, click on the 'safely remove hardware' icon in the system tray.
.......And once you detach the cable, the usb setting again goes back to 'modem'.

it's a great phone, good looking but i will say now the bad parts of it:
1. u can't take pictures and videos directly to the memory card. :(
2. the battery is not the best.
3. in the phone explorer program u can't see the card that u have in your phone. :((- I HOPE SOMEONE WILL SHOW ME IM WRONG ABOUT THE 3 POINT.

Thanks for the important information. Remember that the D900i has the document viewer according to the oficial specifications. You can report it to Samsung customer care.

at this moment i am using 3 phones: nokia 2610,se w810i and samsung d900i.all i can say about the samsung is that is crap, it has short battery life time(1-2 days)the cammera sucks, if it is a little dark do not expect to see something on the screen, flash is too week,radio....hmmm if i go in the corner of my foom then i don't recive nothing,signal....in some places where i have full signal with s-e with this one i have only 1 line.if u have an memory card and if you wanna use a picture as wallpaper or a song as ringtone you have to copy them into the phone memory.i am sorry of buyng this phone,the only good thing about it is the slim fourm, but ewerything else is crap.samsung go back to the drawing board.........

i've tested this phone for a week ..just sucks...the 3mp camera act worst than a 2 mp from sony-ericsson...the audio is low..the battery life is inexistent ..now..it's just about the design..and i don't like this either it's not small it's simply big and wide...but this is just a question of taste..

GUYS... pls do a review on this phone, make it comprehensive so we'll know a lot about it without going to the mall to check the unit, we dont want personnels staring at us like were going to steal the phone or something...

really now this phone sucks performance=0 msg no mp3 if i listen to music my batery dies in about 3-4 hours(i had k750i the batery hold me about 2 days) it's lame this phone the only thing cool at this phone is the disign that's it in rest =0
