Used D980 for 3 months and the touch screen failed. It started working after I left it in my very cold office for 8hrs. D980 is actually a flop.

is there mobile tracker facility in d980?
if not, y to buy this damn.
samsung mobile without mobile tracker facility is not a mobile, its just a toy for children.

can i get to know that the storage capacity of inbox & outbox in the d980.i have some problem in my d980, as it has only 2 gb of memory capacity.the touch sensitivity is good with 5 mp camera.i am comparing it with the nokia phone.

i have one d980 2months ago its very nice to use but there are problems face me :

1-can i increase my playlist more than 4 playist and more 30 items?

2-i want to make chatting on d980 u have any program can i use it with d980?

3-why the ring tone for message is so short (once only)?

4-the batery is so bad haveto recharge it always?

5-i want to ask about messages because happened bad situtation with me when buy d980 insert my sim for first time and when go to my message saved on my sim its deleted (how? i dont know why? i dont know)?

Why is my Samsung phone telling me that "call not allowed on sim1 while trying to call?

The previous SGH-880 can receive call to line 1 (SIM1) or line 2 (SIM2) but to make call only one line is active at a time (need to reboot the phone in order to change the active line for call out). The network setting (i.e. manual or auto setting) was common for both line.

Hope the new 980 will have the above two problem fixed

I got this phone recently, aside from the dual sim feature and the great camera, everything else is mediocre.

Music player application is BAD, no id3 tags and there are only 4 playlists which can only accept 30 songs each.

and often times, there is a significant lag in the Touchscreen UI.

keep away unless you really need a dualsim phone

No good warranty back up.
Buy 2 single sim if possible.
Service back up especially in Kenya Extremely poor.
