dooes it work in united states ?. i bought it india and its unlocked.. but its not getting any coverage when i put t-mobile sim.

This is the ducks guts...i had a nokia 96 which blew up on me in less than two years top of range...i buy this phone for peanutts...its loud..got a torch...fake call feature...battery lasts longer than any mobile..brilliant...basic stuff with surprises...im gonna buy two more...i love this phone!!

Its just GREAT.Its just a basic phone without any useless stuffs.i WAS a nokia fan before using using samsung.but this phone is just superb.great sound clarity and great battery life.just go 4 it without any hesitation.

I want to know if the Samsung Guru E1170 supports long messages.

What I mean by long messages is that if I receive a message that is more than 160 Characters long, does it get stored in the inbox as one whole message or does it get split into two separate messages of 160 Characters each??

Similarly, if I send a message that is longer than 160 Characters, is it sent as one message or split into two messages?

Please, note, I am not asking about the messaging costs. I know that the cost charged for a long message will be equal to the number of messages it comprises of (each 160 chars long).

This is the only query preventing me from getting my hands on the phone...

is there any problem with the keypad light on this phone?I've this phone but send key,end key and scroll key light is not on but other keys light is on.what is the problem of this phone on navigation key?not in numeric key

That is en excellent basic phone. Good battery backup, good signal, loud and clear sound, modern look, fast operation system without bugs. Samsung with that cell phone confirmed its first position in mobile industry. Better basic cell phone on the market is impossible to find. BRAVO SAMSUNG!!!

It is a basic phone, it does not have a lot of fancy stuff on it but it is has a very good signal reception, a a very good battery.I charge it a week ago and still have half of battery.

The basic idea is that the quality / price of this phone is great.

it is a exceptional phone the battery goes until 17 days or more the sound is good, loud ringing and i love the keyboard very nicely...Bravo Samsung for the phone very nice job!!!...

I own this phone. I bought it around 18 Euros six months ago and I just want to say that its the best basic phone I ever had. Its so simple, fast, reliable and tough. Its battery lasts 1 week. Its truly amazing and its voice clarity is so pure. My opinion is buy this phone.
