as said before, it's a decent cellphone, with camera, MP3, etc... however, the cell memory-external memory sync is horrible, to use a mp3 as a ringtone you have to copy it to the hardware memory, which is a measly 12mb(do the math). also, the player only allows you to play 200 mp3s out of 4 playlists(fixed number, 50 for each). to add insult to injury, the cellphone cannot read subfolders in the memory card, thus rendering any approach to organization FUTILE, as you have to chuck 200 mp3's in the root folder and manually select which are going to the player. a pity - if it was able to read inside subfolders, it would be MUCH better as a mp3, however right now it's a very clunky mp3 player, since you can't use folders to separate your mp3's.

I do like this phone but its true, you can only use the external memory not the one in the phone, and it is dissapointing since you can only have around 2 tones . About the external display..what do you mean you cannot change it? do you mean the wallpaper on the screen? because I do have a wallpaper, but i might be getting it wrong: In general, the phone is good, I like it.

I am so satisfied with this phone ,even the camera is vga it has a total clear image , it has a good quality,the only thing that i didn´t like that much is the tones ,they are not loud as i like ...but, this phone is really good!

Great phone for the price.
The only two things I dont like:
I can´t change the external wallpaper
The phone doesn´t come with headphones
Otherwise it´s an excellent device.

well.. I bought this cell phone..and Im very happy with him...
have a lot of good things.. considering the price.. lol
but.. Im really upset about cannot change the wallpaper od the front visor..
and .. the camera isnt one of the best.. but its ok...

I am very disappointed with how this phone uses its memory. The microSD slot is largely solely for decoration and "memory stick" purposes, because if you would dare to even think to want to **USE** tones or playlists or pictures with your phone, the phone makes you COPY those objects onto the small and quickly depleted ridiculously small internal memory.
No way to expand the "shared memory", that doesn't share anything. It's just the basic 19 MB internal memory. And as if that were not enough, the phone by factory decides how to allot the use of that little internal memory. So, there are unused parts of it for functionality that you might not ever want to use, and the parts that you do want to use are even shorter on memory.
So, you are stuck with only two MP3 songs as tones, a short playlist for using the MP3 player, and a few contacts and messages. NO MORE THAN THAT, even if you have hundreds of songs and pictures and contacts in your memory stick.
It really is just a big Joke. Incredible.
TERRIBLE phone for being limited in its ACTUAL memory!!! This is my first Samsung cell phone, and I am terribly disappointed.
