Go to Settings then Phone Profile, then go to your profile and press edit. And there you go. You can choose there where to get msg alert tone, can be from downloads, favorites, radio, etc.

does anybody know how to change the msge alert tone? and its volume? i try changing it but only 4default mesage tone and theres no volume adjustment in it

WORST MOBILE PHONE EVER. The ribbon gets loose easily. I've known relatives and friends who have been using this mobile phone. Swear! It gets jammed easily. And if you wanted to bring it to a mobile phone mechanic, the cost of the ribbon is, DUH! It's like you've bought a new phone already.

i,ve bought only samsung cell phones. this specific one was my 3rd. had it for like 2 years. the thing with samsung cell phones is......they lose their network capabilities after like 1.5 years. so all the time you're using it to call you can't hear the other person well. i have to walk out my room just to answer it because its antenna goes out of the window after a while. SO...if you're palnning to by a phone for a short to medium time range (read not more than a year) then but a samsumg. Otherwise, its an average phone for me

this cell rocks igot the pink color and isaw purple,baby blue,black,silver but the camera is a littl bit not workin for me and i can't type all the letters on it

i hate this phone!! the slide is hard to open and the slide flex becomes loose after a month of LIGHT use.

I hate this phone!
its dreadful! had it 4 2 months and got rid of it its absolutely awful! Ive had quite a few phones in my day and this is by far the worst! everthing is bad! even the slide!
