I just got this as a 2nd phone and i have to say, its pretty charming. Image resolution on the screen is though, quite pixelated, but otherwise, its fast, simple and user friendly.
Its really slim, quite a headturner, yet it is a budget phone, whence why i got it after my recent K800 purchase.
Camera is fair, VGA not Megapixel, nothing special, but has the usual effects, frame captures, night mode, but if it has a flash, this would be a fave.
Sound quality is pretty nice, eventhough it has one speaker and that is the earpiece, it projects clear visible ringtones, but if you want to listen to songs instead, i recommend listening through the included earphones.
Overall, im pretty pleased with the E250. It has the functions of the high-end models but its hardware is on the low side (camera-module, sound enhancements, screen), but other than that, its quite a dream.
So if you are looking for an extremely stylish slider, very slim, fully functioned, MP3/video enabled phone AND you are on a pretty tight budget, get the E250, No regrets at all.
PROS:
-Slim and attractive
-Fully Featured
-Bluetooth
-FM Radio
-Clear Ringtones
-Easy Messaging, keypad is excellent
-Low price
CONS:
-Screen is very pixelated
-VGA Camera/No Flash
-MP3 quality unsatisfied
-Annoying menu-popups

I have had the e250 for about a week now and generally it seems to be a very good phone. It looks good in black as a slider. It has a good music player and fm radio. It has a camera, can send texts and receive emails and it also makes phone calls. Amazing! Unfortunately there are a few silly little thing that had to be taken into account when I rated this phone. First the music player, the internal memory is only big enough to store one track so you need to buy a microSD memory card. There is no usb lead supplied with the phone so you either have to buy one or a dongle if you actually want to be able to transfer tracks onto the phone. You can only listen to the music through supplied headphones which, without hyperbole, are rubbish: large ones that make your ears ache after about ten minutes. I know from experience that samsung can supply very good earphones as I own one of their mp3 players which came with the best earphones I have ever experienced why the couldn't supply it with these I do not know. Also you can only listen to tracks that are attatched to the playlists which there are only four of with a maximum size of 30 tracks. Why couldn't I just listen to my music straight from the folder, strange! The speaker in the phone is actually very good for a small speaker, obviously it is tinny but it is quite loud and clear. The fm radio is great when you can get reception using the supplied earphones which is to be frank rare.
Now for the camera, it can take pictures and videos which is great but the resolution is only vga (0.3mp)so obviously you could only print out relatively small photos with it on your computer (after you've bought dongle or usb lead). Also very little movemnt causes blur when fully zoomed in it is very hard to keep still enough to take photo. This is because it is not an optical zoom all the camera does is show you fewer of the pixels it is seeing so it is basically a small section of the photo you would have taken anyway in a smaller resolution.
Texting is one of the boneses with this phone the t9 predictive text is great and gets 90% of words you want without a hitch. Punctuation is a problem though everytime I do a text with an exclamtion mark I have to figure out how I do it. You have to press some buttons twice or something, weird.
The actual calling is great with awesome reception and great sound quality. The games are ok but to get decent ones you have to pay £4.50 from the samsung website and they actually aren't that good. Don't buy band of brothers it is rubbish.
Basically do not get me wrong this phone is a good phone but if samsung had put just a little more effort in it could have been a great phone.

I recently got my E250 after having a D500 for 2 years. The E250 is nice, but not very nice when compared to the D500. The memory is shocking, but then the look is quite good and it has a Radio, so yup. Anyone know why they discontinued the D500?

What i think is causing the battery problem is that sum of the people only charge the phone for five hours, the duration time for charging the new phone is 16 hours if you dont want to experience the batery problems.i also have the phone and i havent use it use it yet because i have to charge it for 16 hours first. ibout it today.

Hey, i am really thinking of getting this phone. It is really stylish and slick. Is the voice clarity as clear as Nokia's or Motorola's. Also can this phone hold a 1gb memory card?

Karan,
go for SE Z550i, it is better than all other. It doesn't look old but looks more mature.

I just upgraded and sim swoped and I chose e250 now I'd like to copy all my contacts from another sim card to the new seem card I can't seem to do that with e250 it gives me an option to do it one by one which will take too long I want to do it at once
