At first this phone is not a value for money phone. very poor camera image quality, very disappointed video quality. This phone is perfect for those people who use phone just for receive or making call. This phone not that good for texting. Battery is good, sound quality is also good. People please stay away from this phone who love surfing internet via mobile phone. Bluetooth connection a little slow. But I love the " Fake call " feature on this phone comes with it. Voice and speaker clarity is very good on call. Headphone sound is good. I will recommend this phone for the people who use phone just for making calls. or you can have this phone as a second handset on your pocket with your charming smartphone... as I do... Thanks you. :)

Anyone managed to get a 8gb microsdhc working in this phone?

I tried 2 kingstons (8gb/sdhc/class 4) from a "dodgy" shop, and i'm wondering wether this phone can't handle MICROSDHC or whether the microsd cards this guy sells are simply corrupted.

To answer some questions:
- Internal memory is 20MB i think.
- You can block phone calls (blocklist), not sure about sms.

> In reply to FrenchyGirl @ 2011-11-22 14:31 from AT72 - click to readI used to have a Samsung E1080 and have upgraded it to a Samsung E2530.
I have been using it for the past week and am very content with it.

The camera is good enough for pictures,
although it could be better for movies... i dont care much about movies anyway.

The menu is very easy and fun to work with,
and it looks good too!
Battery life is very good.
The MP3 player is good too.
You can use mp3 for call and sms ringtones.

This phone has LOW SAR values,
and has REAL TRADITIONAL KEYS (i prefer it to fullscreen keyboard or touchscreens)

This phone gets a 9 out of 10 for phones of this price range.
If i could swap it for most phones that cost twice or thrice the money, I wouldn't want to ;)

can anyone please confirm if this model is capable of triggering some kind of "new message alert" while listening to music, through earphones connected to the minijack? thanks in advance!

Anyone know how to load albums. Am able to load music easily but will only list by artist - all tracks get listed under one album and so cannot listen to whole album.

Absolutely useless for texting! When inputting text in T9 mode the word list appears for only a second (literally 1 second) then there's no way to get it back. All you can do is delete the word and start again. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've used other Samsung phones and it's no problem to get the word list back.

In Vietnam they sell this phone without earphones(used as an antenna}and U S B cable. Is it strange in sales marketing that will make suspicious about the image of a great brand name in the case customers must get non qualified objects in the market.
