Hello everibody, I realy love my phone!! nice little phone i have ;-) i recomand it to you all! it's small,cute and useful.the only thing that i don't like is that i'm on vodafone...aniway,E301 is cool~keep going samsung ;-)

hi all,i have my phone 4 almoast an year & i like it verry mutch!!!well,i don't say that it doesn't has its problems with the irda or other things,but it's a good & useful phone.i have voice on my video,but i can film only 5 videos and the 1st 1 is much longer then the last 1...anyway i like my phone and i'll keep it 'till it will broke.

great little phone. only problem is if u scratch it, well paint comes off and u cant replce covers or fix it. And it has locked up on me a couple of times and i have only had it 2 months. appently there is a pin, but they dont tell u this when u buy it. u can also fix this by putting in someone elses sim card and turning phone on then re enter yours?

I can record video with sound, don't know why you can't
The Infra-Red is only designed to work with computers, it can be hard to setup but if you know what your doing it works. It was never designed to work with other phones, most phones with Infra-Red are like this.
Anyone know how to changed the colour of the light that flashs when you get a message?
Anyone able to get new games on their? I can't get it to dl free games.

This phone has a zoom for the camera. There is no sound for the video. the quality of picture is ok only. but the screen is great. too bad, it's only dual band. And though the polyphonic sound is great. you won't be able to hear it if you put it in a bag or if you are in a crowded area.And my biggest peeve, you cannot let it vibrate and ring at the same time. something that has become a trademark of samsung. Whenever i read other people's opinion on other samsung phones, you are bound to read some people complaining about this.

I like my phone and many people liked it, but the only problem is that, I cannot activate my GPRS and I can't use my infrared. The photos are wasted and the videos are limited. Is there a way for adding memory to phone? please.. I do need your reply coz it drives me crazy. Are there available PC connector so I could directly transfer data to my computer?

ei!! why cant i use my infared icant send or recieve!! pictures!! and how can i transfer pics to my pc!!! this really suckss!!! i mean the camera is fine but how can you share it!!! oh!! cmon!!! i need you to reply on this now or else!!!! and i have read the other comments!! and we have the same!! problem!! and i hope you people really reply!!! because!! this is really upsetting your!! buyers!! is your infared really!! just a design!!!!!

Hi to all,
I am having problems to connect my phone SGH-E310 to my computer via a USB cable that came in a "PC DATA LINK KIT" box in order to download new wallpapers and sounds on my mobile. I do not have an Infrared connection so I decided to get the USB cable. Well in short it does not work. The main problem that I have is that I am asked by either EasyGPRS or EasyStudio to instal the GPRS Samsung Modem. Infact when I start the GPRS Wizard, a window appears saying "Com3: Samsung GPRS modem not found". The wizard automatically takes me to the "Add new hardware wizard" and straight into the "modem" section where the "Samsung GPRS modem" is listed. So I click on the "Samsung GPRS modem" and then I click "next" to instal the modem. Then the "Add new Hardware wizard" asks me to select which port I want the modem to be installed. But it provides me with no available ports what so ever and I cannot click on "next" so I am stuck!!! So basically, HEEELLLPPP!!!

Scratches fall on it all da time!I tried transferring data once with my cousin 'z cell but my so called Infra red doesnt work..huhuuhuh.U know what i wasted all my money on it.Samsung u totally suck!!!!!!!!1

hi guys,
i've been wondering too if it was possible to transfer pictures, photos , sounds or video between a PC and a Samsung E310 using irda and i've read several times that it wasn't. Well fortunately it is, that's the good news, but partially. That is u can download your photos, sounds or images but u can't, or at least i didn't succeed in, transfer video files. Also, when u upload a picture, it is 128x128 pix max, only for wallpaper...
the soft to used is PC Studio 2 PIMS and FileManager. U can dl it directly from the word support samsung site (the local ones didn't work), and here's the URL :

just have to set up the connection in the configuration menu and choose irda, and select the 115000 speed. That's all !

Great phone, light weight easy to use, camera quality is great. The downside to it is that when u take a photo and put it as your wallpaper there's 2 little gaps between the bottom and top, and also with thr IRda infrared, it should be able to transfer data to mobile to mobile (cell to cell) also

I've had my E310 for nearly a year now, i recently bought a USB DATA cable in the hope of transfering my photo's on to my pc! But its not working! I have no idea how to do it! Can anyone give me step by step instruction asap. Thanks

hello people.. well i have been watching the posts since last month and i had the same questions which you people have. you may see one of the posts posted by me a few weeks ago and i was curious to know how to tranfer of pics works. well i have a GPRS easy load Compact Disk received with this cell. set and i have installed in my laptop. as i have an IR link in laptop and we have one in E310. i can easily transfer the data from my computer to samsung e 310 and from mobile set to my computer. people who do not have a communication device, they may buy an IR link from the market or a Data cable. both things work. but there is a trick.. other wise you wont be able to transfer data. First switch on the Infra red from the mobile using phone settings. put it in front of the receiver Transmitter infrared deive or the IRDA port of laptop. after that open easy gprs by double clicking it. the sofware will automatically load the phone book and the sms plus all the files in your mobile to the computer and after that you will be able to transfer any data except for the videos because easy gprs does not allow you to see the My Video folder in your mobile. As far as the picture size whic you want to transfer to your mobile set, the size should be lesser than 128 x 128. and for that you may use, irfan view software. you can download thsi software from the net quite easily.

hi i have been told by some places that this phone has got bluetooth on it , but by many others i have been told otherwise , for all you people that have this phone i would be grateful if you can tell me if it infact has bluetooth on it , all i no is that it has infrared thanks

Hi, i get that 310 6 months before n uptill tomarrow i was just thinking that how how i can make my photos transfered to my pc because infrared doesn't work for this its just for making fool. but u can transfer ur photos to pc through data cable but it too can't be used for the transfer of video...
and also if any body knows how to transfer all the Sim contacts to phone memory at ones? Please reply
