Ok, so I get the E330, and while I love the phone and I think it is in general awesome... I find it hard to understand the Up to 3 h 30min talk time and the Up to 220 hours stand by. I think I am getting only about 40 hours all in all... What is wrong? When I bought the phone I was told that I could use it right away. So I did, then I charged the bat, for about 2hours, then again for 16 hours or so... What is wrong? Do I need to run the bat to zero and start charging from a zero point? And then try the 16 hours charging?
Other than that it is really cool! I miss the bluetooth or IR so I can make use of swapping those damn Polyphonic tones.
Can a Sony Ericsson (T610) and a Samsung (E300) swap Pol40 tones ????

Katie... Try and compare the two using the compare function of GSMarena, Theres almost nothing the E600 has better than the E330 besides small things such as 64 polyphonic vs 40 except maybe the TFT screen, but i'm not sure how much better it is. I definitely think that the E330 is better than E600, But I'm not sure about E300 vs. E330...

i love my e330 i think it is great, well compared to what i had before. May be the e600 is better but i brought my phone as a fashion statement because it is small, slim has no antenna and looks great. :)

Now, Which is best? the E330 or the E300.
I know the E300 has a better screen (TFT) than the E330 (UFB), but how much better is it?
and the E300 can record video whereas the E330 can't.
Then there's the antenna issue but I think I can live with it.
The price isn't much different.
The lifetime of the battery is better for the E330 (probably because of the screen).
The E330 has more memory (8.66Mb vs. 6.7Mb in the E330).
The Design is a bit better on the E330, but I don't care about that.
The E300 has a composer so you can make your own music for free, whereas the E330 lacks that feature.
The externel display on the E330 is a bit larger (96x96 vs. 96x64 on the E300).
This is the differences I have found so far... I'm leaning towards the E300 but i'm still unsure.
What is your opinion?

Does the txt input on the e330 store words that you teach it like the Nokias do?

so u are all saying that you think the samsung E600 is better? or the E330 can some one just tell me wether it is better or worse i no at the end of the day a fone is a fone but i do surfin an snowboardin an that so i need a good phone for pictures wich is better???

Dear Mel the e330 picture quality is bad i had one, when you snap a picture it goes dark and grainy and it aint even got a video recorder its crappy dualband and it aint got infrared. e600 is better as it has TFT screen better picture quality which is nice bright and clear, video recorder, tri band so it works in the states and it has infrared and better battery life, theres just no comparison e600 is much better and there the same price now!

Just got this phone and it is amazing. I recently sold my Sharp GX20 coz basically it was like talking into a brick! This phone is small and comfortable to hold... So what if it doesnt have a vid recorder! BUY IT 9/10!

right, i have read all of the messages on here but it stll hasnt helped me decide! for Christmas i dont no wether to get the samsung E600 or the E330? they are bith realy goood phones can some one please help me decide which one do you all think is the better phone?? if you had the choice which would you get? cheers Macenna x x
