can anyone tell me which Samsung phone is the best.I am not overly bothered with elaborate functions like video etc but I do want a good looking phone that has high volume and easy texting functions. Any ideas?

the samsung e340 does have video recording as i got it 2 days ago and the length of the video all depends on how much space you have left on your phone. their is NO specific limit. the phone has 40mb of internal memory. so it has quite a lot for a small phone.

Really, i bought this phone about 5 months ago. I don't have any complaint. The bluetooth works fine, it has 40 Mb shared memory, it plays mp3 as an mp3 player and for ringtones also(great quality!), the interiour screen is colored 65000 colors very nice, the screen outside is not colored but that doesnt bother me, its very clear. I really recommend this phone to everyone with a budget from about 250 euros, it costs already less i think.

Howzit Selwyn from fellow South African And ex-Eldo's Ext.2 resident. Firstly regarding the ringing tones & vibration you can download ringing tone with simultaneous vibration, cant remember the website just now. Regarding the camera, when taking the photo, just press the volume button on the left side of the fone use the top one it will turn the image around.

Another South African entirely satisfied with the new black version I bought for my fiance. Can anyone please advise whether it is possible to have the ringing alert set to both ringing(melody/sound/audio) and vibration simultaneously? I know about the "first ring and then vibrate" setting but wish it could be done otherwise. A bigger memory or MMC provision wouldn't hurt either. Whenever I try and take a self portrait by swivelling the camera around to face me, the picture I take is upside down. Is this normal? Thanks in advance for your response.

I have one prob. someones say there is blue light in this phone's smaller screen. But i went to shop and there it was white!:/ So is there really two version of this phone?
And if someone can answer, is this phone's colour-screen good?

I have just one problem, i can't activate my WAP and GPRS so i can't send an MMS,I really need help. Other then that the phone is AWESOME!!!!!!!!

yez this phone has bleutooth, but no ir, and has also 40mb internal memory...this is a rich phone for a pretty low price...it's really worth it...
