i) 'This phone has most things that High spec phones have with less quality...prevents the prices being cheap.' >> Fully agree this has abt the same px as the e730 and slight cheaper than x700. Why would i choose to get this?
ii) 'What a useless phone this is... It is not a high spec phone, nor it is low end. an mp3 player, but with 40mb memory and no card slot makes the mp3 useless.' >> A nice clamshell modelled so many times ^NO Card Slot^
iii) 'Camera is horrific. The era has moved onto 2mp cameras....and yet this still has VGA.' >> i am using an older samsung with VGA. i dunno why it still exists in new models.

it has Bluetooth vga camera speaker phone mp3 player fm radio it is good for a phone if u want a mp3 player go buy one u want a camera buy one this is a phone not a mp3 player or camera!

I luv the look of the phone and the comments are great but i would like to no if it has mp3 and where can i buy it and how much does it cost if anyone could get back to me that would be great thanks

Nice simple little phone, about 10 000 B (200 Euros)in Bangkok, very cheap.

hey i reackon its a nice fone a fone is a fone, so u can talk to people and text to people thats what counts if u want a good camara buy one dont go crazy just b'coz the fone hasnt got good mp if u dont like it dont buy it find another fone its as easy as that.

Well, if you want a camera why dont you BUY a camera instead, personally i think this phone has alot of nice features for a PHONE. i think this is a good phone

no MP camera no card slot small memory old design basically a **** fone sorry samsung about the only good phones you have out is the d600 and the e770

I like this model very much with the buttons under the 2nd LCD and the oval shape... But I agree if you say that samsung makes the most horrible phones at the moment, for example the new samsung smartphones like the P860/P850

i really think that Samsung has really getting off the track of good looking fones. i mean take a look at serene. and the thing is that now days NOKIA is producing even better looking fonez with more features. I'm sorry, but Samsung has left the battelfield, for quit a time.

do you really think that everybody's searching for a total-phone with all the useless stuff you mentioned (for a crazy price)?...this phone has all you may need in a phone (and even more). Simple.

Terrible mistake by Samsung.... What a useless phone this is... It is not a high spec phone, nor it is low end. It doesn't fit anywhere. Mp3 buttons indicate that it's an mp3 player, but with 40mb memory and no card slot makes the mp3 useless. Camera is horrific. The era has moved onto 2mp cameras....and yet this still has VGA. Not to mension disadvantages of being Triband, rather than Quad band (especially in USA)
This phone has most things that High spec phones have...with less quality. Hence, having these unneccessay functions that don't even work properly prevents the prices being cheap. Samsung wasn't thinking when the annouced this phone. My guess is that this phone will not reach mass production stage.
