I have encountered the similar problem with this phone going on and off or resetting when I send sms or texts. The repair center changed the board once however phone still acts up like before although less frequently. Am bringing it in for repair again. Nice looking phone but has bugs in ti

to Ha about the password for the messages
i havent actauly ever even handled this phone but seeing as its an sasmsung here i go!:-
-go on 2 settings
-then security settings(be careful what buttons you press as you may accidently lock you PUK or SIM)
-if it has it go onto lock aplication or anything like that and ut should ask you for a code. if the phone is new the code may be 000 or 1234 or it may be in the manual but if a previos owner has used the password settings then you may have to ask them.
-type in the code and....
-voila!!!

I bought this mobile about two weeks ago, but it's giving me problems - when I'm sending a message, all of a sudden it just goes off and switches on again. Obviously, the message is lost and I have to retype everything again which is very irritating. I went back to the shop and he changed it for me, but unfortunately it's doing it again. I think there must be some defect or something with the software... Does anybody have the same problem, and did anyone manage to solve it, cause I'm going to break this mobile to pieces soon. Any help is appreciated.

Guys, moisture damage to the internal workings is unfortunately unrepairable. Your only chance is to (seriously) let it dry out in an airing cupboard and hope fror the best, but even then it'll never be like it was.

2/3 of my music are not compatible because better then 192 kbps. I am really disapointed. Have to study decoders and stuff to make it all work. The rest is fine.

i was looking at this phone to buy and i really interests me however i want a phone where i can transfer music or pics to and from my compuer does this phone do that?????

amy :- about droping your phone in water...well, the best thing to do is go to a store and ask them what they can do but my friend accidently droped her mobile down the toilet and unfortunatly it was to bad 4 repair so it really depends on how bad the phone is! good luck with it though
and DheE :- about the picture viewing...your friend may have a wideer screen or something that your phone doesnt therefore your mobile cannot accept the picture. well it can accept it but it cannot view it. just the way it goes! sorry
i hope i was some help. anyone else got any problems with this or any other samsung phone i am a mobile addict and know a fair bit about them so feel free to ask

It is an excellent phone if any1 were thinking of buying it i would say go for it!
it has loads of memory nd the colorz r amazing!
(i would get it in blue or red if you were a girl and for a boy black or sliver)

it has a womans life application which will tell u when ur period is due,when your at your most fertile,your body fat and loads of other mad stuff like a pedometer!why would ya need this and how do i put this into a sales pitch?

predictive texting is very simple... just click each letter u want to type once and by the time u will click the whole word, it will be there. like when u dial letters when calling. hope it helped

incase you haven't already found out you can change to 'normal' text by pressing and holding the "*" star key at the bottom of
