if you don't have sdcard/transflash memory, you must install Samsung PC Studio(download from samsung's website), but if you have it you can change phone usb setting from modem to storage mode and then plug the usb cable, your phone will look like flashmemory in your comp (with/o installing pcstudio. :)

sorry i'm just amateur :) but i'm happy with this phone.. and just suggest.. why don't we set up own e590 community? i think we can capture photos and share how to tweak this 'camphone'. thanks.

Then on PC Studio, click Phone explorer, it'll open a window and it will be connect to your E590. Do not access it via the drive where you connected the usb.. ok? msg me what happens..
Also, this phone is very good.....

Guys I just bought it yesterday,it's very cool,but I have a problem,I cant connect it to my PC via USB,I cant connect it otherway so I'm trying through USB.I have the Samsung PC Studio installed from a cd,I downloaded pc studio from samsung's official site and it still can't connect.I installed the usb drivers (both from the cd and from samsung site)and again the same.
Actually it connects, but i can't acces the phone,it says "Please insert a disk into drive E:" and Samsung PC studio can't connect or recognise this phone.
Can anyone help?

hello, i have this unit and its really nice it has more features, the color are good also the sounds, very handy becuase its so small, but if i play a video its very small appearance. is there any way that i could personalise the message alert tone?

i have one and i love it. The picture quality is very good, only downfalls are that the print is very small when typing a message and the other is that there is no flash on the camera but it doesn't matter if you have the right lighting. I am very impressed with mine. I got a bargain, paid £50 for it brand new and i am very happy with it.i have recommended it to my friends.

the card reader is a bit slow, but you can play music just fine, so the only way it slows you down is when you try to scan through pictures saved on the card or perform file operations with them (move, delete, etc). For music it's great. The proprietary ear buds are junk though, so maybe invest in some decent stereo bluetooth headphones.

Hi guys! got this black beauty(samE590)for a week now and it's really great! It excites me everytime i use it! i like its very small and humble appearance but packed with great capabilities specialy the camera... but in daytime only hehe, ofcourse no flash. However, im here to share some problems with it.
If you have a problem of disabled KEYPAD TONE, ADVANCED SHORTCUT, & CALENDAR, try changing your wallpaper to normal and your dialling display to normal. If you're already using normal, try switching to theme and then go back to normal again.
I bought my E590 here in the Phillipines that includes stereo headset & USB cable, no memory card.
Mine can store only 200 messages in the phone while the review here says that it can store of up to 1000 messages in the phone.
Mine can only use one image as a wallpaper or background while the review says it can use two alternating images as a wallpaper or background. Does anybody here has something to say about this? It will be much appreciated...
