just got this phone from france. this phone is soo small with elegant design and so cute suitable for girls. the camera is surprisingly good, better than k700i in my opinion. the display is bright and crisp it even brighter than k700i..the ringtone is so loud and nice.. the 64 polyphonic ringtones i use even better than mp3 sound and it can also ringing and vibrate at the same time but you have to d/load it from samsung website. i got no problem to transfer files via Infra Red but you have to install first the Easy Studio on the computer. unlike e800 you still can easily write sms with one hand despite its small size thanks to its nicely design keypad. not to forget the very useful function - voice memo, which can be recorded up to 6 hours. the only downside - no semi sliding mechanism as e800. overall its a very small and nice userfriendly phone. my score for this phone 8.5/10

Did Motorola say that the V3 is made for man only?
Even Motorola TV advertising use woman singers & stars for this phone!
Do you know what you are talking about?
My opinion are actual facts for people to read & not something for you to argue!

Just seen it & played with it at a big electronic store. What a nice small & beautiful phone. It look so much nicer live than picture.
My three friends (one male & two female) whom accompany me to the store are all very much interested in this Samsung E638 hand phone. The male friend instantly brought one. The two female friends both happened to be using their newly brought Motorola V3 & surprisingly both wanted to trade in their V3's for this phone, but the trade in price of the V3 is only about half what they paid for! So the two ladies are thinking of selling their existing V3 at some second hand mobile phone shop & buy the Samsung E638. (The two ladies are both frustrasted by the un-user friendliness of the V3! )

Great design, if it had the features of inno 75, it would be the best slide phone. Anyway, i.m very happy with it.

I bought this phone about a months ago. If you're interested in a design, light and small phone, this is the one. If you're looking for features, performance... than you should try another phone. The sound is great, the reception is average, battery, surprinsingly for samsung, will hold you for at least 3 days (that's if you really talk a lot and play with the phone very often), and can go even up to 5 (that's a very rare occasion). T9 - very frustrating, cannot be turned off permanently. Sliding mechanism can give u some worries, since it can open by itself if u keep it in your pocket.

Well, besides the connectivity thingy, this phone's not bad at all. The design's awesome and the size is magnificent. But well, no bluetooth and you can't use the infrared to share what's inside your gallery is well dissapointing... And also the feature for SMS is not much differs from n6510 (!!!) even worse.. It's almost the same with n3310 or n3330 (!!!!!!!!!!)

I have no problems with the repetion so far, seems good to me. The battery lasts 3/4 days in a normal use. It HAS loudspeaker (even without soundmate).

Just bought it and I love it. It's very small and light and it's really beautiful. It's much better seen live than in photos. The camera is amazing! Best Samsung phone after the D500.

The E-630 is far better as compare to E-800, E-810, E-820, as its look is great and it is smaller in size. The look of hand set is great.

Can anyone tell me how to use the photo caller id. I set it up through the camera and had name of person set with picture as caller id, but when they call, the picture doesn't show up.
