2 Years past...Still working good, no problems at all!!! Compared to other color phones - more and more faster phonebook and menu than even Nokia. Sound - the best, with some trick u can use mp3 as ringtone, personal rings to names, camera - the obsolete deFacto standard of mobile cam, why to pay more fo MegaPixels and get bigger and equal part bigger noise and sucks colors. If youre pro-sumer - buy PCB133LBE cable and make your E700 as you wish - even Windows mobile Edition Style. The Be-e-e-e-est from classical Samsung - first with internal antenne - first with best MobiCam, First with best TFT Display. This phone is the legend and some day will be in Samsung Museum of Arts!!!

well it has been 2 yrs(wen it was just launched in my country) that i have been using this phone!i must say that it is a gud 1 with gud features though the screen burst after using it 4 1 yr but after i changed the screen,it is working fine since then!the sound n cam are the best features that this phone has!no other phones can beat the pic quality it got!i wont be denying that it got its own share of problem but come on pple which phone doesnt have any prob?samsung rocks n this week am going to pamper myself by getting an all new samsung mobile!

This phone was quite good for the first 18 months or so. Now I am experiencing problems similar to those in these posts. My battery will not last more than a day or two and the main display has gone all white. The brightness and contrast have killed the display almost to the point where I cannot see it unless I view it from an angle. My next phone will not be a Samsung. Once bitten twice shy.

I've had the phone for 24 months now, the screen went lighter after 14 months and the camera stopped taking pictures a month later, I'm upgrading in 2 weeks, Samsung will not be my next phone!

i have had this fone for a while and it's been having some problems with the screen going white. Also the battery life is very short

I get the opinion that a lot of users expect to be able to drive their cars over the phone and still expect it to work. I cannot follow the complaints but I can say that my Samsung is still working perfect, it plays tunes and displays my Logo and lets me take fair quality photos which I can download with the data cable. For good photos I use a proper camera, the E700 is a phone - for speech.

received a seccond hand phone from friend. roughly used. housing cracked and scrached a bit. but the phone(, camera, batery display, and sound) in top condition. amazing picture quality compared to contemporary phones. recomend to others even though now out of market.

iv had this phone for a few months now and i think its great i havent had any problems with it. i would reccomend this phone to anyone. the picture is great and the photos come out great.

The Samsung E700 was my first phone, I really liked it apart from some annoying things like the crap resolution on the camera, and the fact that the camera activation button is on the outside which resulted in a LOT of pictures of the inside of my pocket, and the way sms messages in progress couldn't be saved when answering an incoming call, but I could put up with these things! The fact that the phone completely DIED exactly 2 years after I got it (starting with the LCD screen going) will put me off EVER buying another Samsung product. It was an expensive phone! I don't agree with the "disposable" attitude some manufacturers seem to have...not good for consumers or the environment! I just wish I had done some more research before deciding on that brand...Buyers beware!

I've had this phone for 2 years now and the screen has gone bust twice already! Once when i just bought it and the second time just recently. Judging from the comments in the forum i guess this is a common problem. Such a shame for Samsung they make beautiful phones but with crap quality. I don't know if i'll ever buy a Samsung ever again :(

Hey Its me Raju from Bangladesh.I am a hardcore Samsung fan.I have this model of Samsung since 1.5 years. Its going superb up to now.its picture quality is A1.And it is easy to use.So from me bravo Samsung.

Well,its just i hae a problem wit my phone. I bought in the year 2005 August.I once fell from my baby's hand onto the ground and ever since it went blank.It also affected the camera cuz it ain't taking pictures again.I must confess it has served me well. It is an excellent phone so to speak.One more thing; it is said to be a browsing phone but it isn't browsing at all even aftre setting the config. Thanks

hey guys, is there any way to fix this phone, my dad had a little water on it, so the main lcd screen lost red color (there is no red now), and the camera doesn't work anymore,how do you fix this? how much would it cost?

Whatever you do don't buy this phone.I bought it one and a half years ago and yesterday its screen went bust.I will now never buy another Samsung phone in my life.

The Samsung e700 is an excellent phone that has great aesthetics and a good range of features. Like many phones, it has a fair share of problems \ errors, especially the dreaded "message preview error". The error is usually attributed to a fine wire behing the screen snapping, not the camera itself. The problem can be fixed by replacing it, which means buying a new LCD screen, as it is connected directly to it.

but now i am using sumsungE700......and this is one of the best fones of sumsung

the phone is good,you're cryin' for nothing, you listened music to this phone and now it's not working anymore? maybe u don't know that this phone ain't got mp3 player...and u gotta take care of it like any other phone,and if the display is not working is because of the dust
