god damn it..............this cell-phone doesnt work properly!!
the screen has some type ov blurr on it!!

If selling my E730 crossed my mind, I'd ask for exactly the amount I paid for it almost 3 yeasrs ago regardless the market price because it work just as perfect as I un wraped it - Even the battery performance is still the same - though generally the battery life was never as long I I would have loved it. "E730 is cash worth"

This is an absolutly awesome phone!! I still cant justify getting a new one (and I've had it for years!!!) I definatly recommend!!

ive also had this pohone for about 4 years, and it hasn't failed me once, despite being dropped several times. (Once from a moving car.) The screen hasn't cracked, and the colors are as bright as ever. This is, by far, one of Samsungs' best phones.

Answer:
Go to 'Settings'
'Sound Settings'
'Message Tone'
Then go to 'Message'

awesome phone i've had dis 4 2 yers n counting n dis hp has never let me down.. im not the careful type so my e730 has had its fair share of 'durability tests' including a 2 storey high fall.. dun tink i wanna change.. not jz yet.. samsung rocks

hi guys, i 'v been using this phone for around 2 years... its so comfi... dont wanna buy a new phone.... before e730 i used to change mobiles every 3rd month...put simply..

Awesome phone, I've had mine for two years and I still cant warrent buyng a new one because this has most options of new phones anyway! Very durable and the battery life is good!

Yeah when i'm outside or in a crowded place, i can't hear my ringers either. For times like that, i'll just put it on vibrate. In my opinion, its just a small setback when compared to the durability and reliability of this phone.

hey , i have been using this phone for like 2 years , i have drop it on the floor alot of times but it haven't fail me ! but the volume of the phone is bad , i cant heard it when i am outside i have set my ringtone to the highest volume but still , when ppl call me , i cant heard it !!

If you're talking about changing the SMS tone, u can't. U can only use the preset ones that are on the phone already.

An excellent phone, however I have a real problem with the volume. I can't hear the phone when it on full volume, and when it is in my jacket or in my trouser pockets. I don't have a poly ringtone either. The speaker where the rintone comes out of is inside the earpiece, and when the clamshell is closed the volume is muted out at least 70%.

You're best bet is to check on ebay every now & then. I check there sometimes just to see what the going price is for this little treasure.

this could be the best phone I've ever had. I regret selling my e730.....it was such a perfect phone, despite its unexpandable memory. but of course you can't have all in one phone (like people, no phone's perfect). but afterall, it's light, compact, sleek design, having relatively durable battery (compared to my current d600! the battery is so dispappointing. LOVE IT SO MUCH

I have owned my e730 since Feb '05 and this phone simply rocks. I have dropped it numerous times (sidewalks, tile floor, etc) & it still hasn't failed on me. Phone call quality is great, speakerphone is good & you can create your own mp3 ringtones for it. Outside & inside screens are independently customizable, the *#8999 code works for further sound customizing & the clock is always on. This is a great, durable phone with alot of simple fun packed into it (T9, easy MMS, FM radio, easy to open with the one hand, good self-portrait external screen). I can't comment on the speed of internet access since I actually use internet at home (which is faster than any phone on GSM networks anyway). 2 suggestions to complement this phone: 20 USD Bluetooth dongle that can be found on ebay (to upload/download pics, customized mp3 ringtones, .gif files for wallpapers), and a bluetooth earpiece (i have Jabra JT125, works GREAT) For the price of this phone, its capabilities, and the fact that its a flip phone (not too many durable flip-phones out there anymore, mostly sliders) this is a great buy.
