> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-12-17 11:49 from fuTmhey.. i am presently using this phone, Samsung E740 & its Great..! ;-) In order to connect ur phone to pc, first u got to get a samsung pc studio software..(can download it or get it frm samsung service centre) install it on ur system. then connect ur phone to d system using d usb cable.. only then can u access ur pictures, msgs, contacts etc etc.. on ur pc..

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-12-17 11:49 from fuTmyou attach usb cable to usb port on pc. and you see a thing pop up in the middle of the screen you scroll down and click on "open folder to view files" and it opens you go on "pictures" and you press Ctrl on your pc keyboard and A at the same time and then you press move this file and then a window opens in the midde of the screen and you select the desktop or local disc part and then you press move and there you go that's how I did it.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-12-17 11:49 from fuTmIf you want to put the pictures on ur computer you have to get the disk which comes with the phone and put it in you computer so it lets you download the program onto your computer, when it is finished downloading plug the phone in again and it should hopefully come up with a box saying Samsung PC Studio 3 and then you can download things on or off your phone. Hope tht helped :)

wants to plug and play the E740 on the XP SP2 computer but nothing seems to be happaning. How do I download all my pictures to my computer?

I've had this phone for a year now. Works fine never freezed or anything and dropped it a millon times =]
I will only change it Q3 next year

This mobile seemed good and all at first but,
whenever i slide my phone back to close it, the music player appears and wont disappear until i exit it.
nobody buy this mobile as it does freeze at times and it stuffs up quick. >

Now I am frightened when I look back at what I have written about my disappointment with the E740 and discover that a 'sticky' has appeared on the word phone in my text with a pop-up that makes it look as if I am promoting Nokia!!!! The world is full of the wicked.

I am very disappointed with this phone! It is freezing on me. I noticed trouble with it immediately I began to use it but tried to ignore the telltale signs of an unstable system, skipping of its own accord, not reading a select command and telling me that nothing is selected, frustrating. And the Users Guide is a scanty overview of functions and settings that helps little when searching what solutions there may be to the problems. If the seeming instability of the phone might be said to be the fault of an incompetent handling it then show me the errant who promotes this phone and sells it with its Excuse for a User Guide.

I brought the phone 2 begin with and when i got it home and was using it.. it froze and turned off... This phone is a piece of crap and i wouldnt buy.. i took it back and they gave me a new phone a different model.. i think this phone shouldnt be on the shelves anymore.. they sell u something that will stuff up, its illegal to sell u something that you dont even get ur moneys worth for... Its a piece of crap and i wouldnt buy it not even as a gift for any1...

It should be taken of the sheleves and stop taking ppl's money for SOMETHING YOU CANT EVEN USE!!!

TAKES THIS ITEM of the SHELEVES...

If u remove my comment again ill post it again!

ITS ILLEGAL & SHOULDNT BE ALLOWED TO BE SOLD!!!

Samsung doesn't read .txt file..
What should I do to put a notepad file in Samsung E740
if it cannot read it..

its a good phone..
im using it for a year dy
and its working good

ppl this phone is good
its worth buying
so far it has dropped so many times
nothing has happen also
the battery last for long
it has alot of features

I got this phone yesturday and i think it is good. not good that you cant have mp3 as sms tone. sound is good on it. the menu is a bit slow at times. you just have to not rush when going though the menu. it has not yet turned off on me or stuffed up. but i will come back in one month and tell you all how it is going. cya!

My brother and i both bought this phone. About a month ago my brothers phone wouldnt turn on, also none of the bottons on the keypad would work. After he returned his phone mine started to freeze and turn off when ever it liked, also when i tried to play music it would make a high pitched squeling sound and would not stop unless you took the battery out,the music was going from slow to fast loud to soft. I recemend not to buy this phone because after reading the other opinions this samsung phone is faulty.
