hi! i have this kind of phone. To activate the camera when the phone is closed, you have to press the mbutton at the right don't release yet. The phone switches to Motion Recognition ready mode. While holding the key, move/shake the phone UP and then down. You should move fast. When the camera starts, release the key. Press the mbutton at the right to take a photo.

Really nice phone, and I can activate all the features from the outer display using the motion sensor... just hold the button, move the phone, and release the button...

Is it true that you can open or close this phone for only 2000 times? which has high in physical quality, this samsung e670 or the nokia 6151?

i own this phone and it looks really nice.. has a combination of ruggedness and class.. but my main gripes with this phone is:
1. There is NO WAY to activate the camera for doing self-portraits from the menu. you HAVE the shake the phone in the correct way with the cover closed to activate the camera.

2. The motion sensing fuction doesn't really do much.. the games which require you to move the phone around result in you having to move your head too.. so you can see whats going on

Picture quality isn't too bad, though the close-ups aren't good. No flash and auto-focus so it's not for those who like to take pictures.
Non-expandable memory also.

Overall, for those seeking a classy looking phone but willing to compromise on camera capabilites.

Hi Everyone,
do any of you live in the Gulf Coast area of the United States and know whether this works on Cingular network?

I know Cingular uses GSM 850 and 1900, but the dealer warns regular Cingular uses 850 signal and may not get a signal if one is on a Cingular subcriber.

Please let me know as I really like this phone.

hi basil...yes the canera works externally. you just have to press and hold the button on the right side...then take pictures as much as u can as it automatically saves.

this is my first clamshell phone and im really impressed with the design and features. i suggest if you're looking for an affordable with quality phone...you should have this. great phone!!!

u have to go to 'downloaded pics/sounds/videos' folder on your phone, depending on wat u wanna transfer...
if all goes well the upload to phone icon will light up....
try it.....
anyway this phone rocks!!!!
adios"
She's right I"ll just add that the source of the music, pics and so on has to be the HDD (not a CD or DVD disc) !!!

Just got this phone and it's excellent. The pictures from the 1.3 megapixel camera are much more clear than pictures from other phones with the same camera. And with a free bluetooth printer, its all good.

I think it is a wonderfull phone, It's funky and friendly using. I have this phone for 6 months. The only problem I have is I wish Samsung could included edge. For faster speed on computer.
