can e840 sms tones be changed i want this mobile sim free in the uk but had samsungs before and not happy you could not change sms tones some reviews say you can and others dont so thought i would ask some owners ta

Halo Everyone here, I just bought E840 and why my message ring tones set as using mp3? Can u guys give me a help? I want to know how to set mp3 as sms ring tones.

E840 uses new GUI same as U600. It has different music player, slimmest slide phone and slightly bigger screen than D900i.

Yes, the phone has only 2 skin to choose from. It's either Black or White. This phone using new UI (User Interface) which support 'Theme'. There's only 1 theme pre-installed in the phone. The theme display a landmark depends on which country you bought the phone. The background of the landmark will turn dark when night falls, which is quite interesting. One thing i'm not sure is whether the landmark will change if i use the phone in other country.

ive just brought this phone on contract for 40 pounds a month but every month you get half the money back - phones 4 u - this phone is the best - big screen - video wallpaper's its just the best i love it - if your after a new phone this is the 1 to get - trust me - thank-you

I bought this phone last week and plan to exchange it for a RAZR V3i. I just want a phone phone that works well. This phone is cool and very slim, but the construction seems a little clunky.

I do not like the phonebook at all. Very little flexibility. Nice display and very good resolution and ring tones. I also found the quality of the phone sound itself to be lacking. It just lacks basic features that a phone at this price ought to have.

I will say it is fast and the internet connection was quite good.

Hi, I was wondering if the directional keys are touch sensitive like the soft keys, or are the directional keys regular buttons like on the u600?

does this phone do the pictures in messages? i think its called vivid picture. like with the u600?

The phone is just awesome !

The cost in India is Rs.11000 only.
The phone comes up with an inbuilt memory of 70 MB.
The Memory can be expandable upto 2GB with microSD.
The FM radio is there,but FM reception is not as Good as Sony Ericsson phones.But,if you are in urban area,no problem.

This phone is very light and the amazing 'Tempered Glass' on the front panel of this phone means less prone to get scratch.

Got this phone for a month now. Very satisfied. It uses same GUI as U600. Some improvements over the other previous Samsung models include:

1. Big screen and slimmest slider phone so far.
2. Battery charging while connect to PC via USB.
3. Vibrate + Ring (some Samsung phones don't have this features)
4. Very good video recording (CIF resolution)
5. Radio
6. Documents viewer including HTML.
7. New NetFront browser.
8. Full screen video playback.
9. Faster USB data transfer.
