Please can anyone tell me how to enable Memory card in this phone. I just bought this phone & I love it & also I got a memory card of 512MB which is inserted in the slot, but not able to transfer the content from laptop to this memory card. So please help me out to enable this memory card so that I can transfer music from laptop to the phone. Thanks in advance

hi all,
can anyone please tell me if there is inbuilt memory in E840 or do we need to buy it seperately and the cost of E840 in India. Can you please tell me the difference between E840 and D840, does Radio FM exists in E840. please take some time and do let me know

if you want a samsung to go into silent mode just press # for about 3 seconds and vice versa

hi mitchell,
i did press the volume button, but instead of it going silent, it started decreasing the ringtone volume! i have used samsung phones earlier too, and thing u mentioned always worked! but not wroking in this mobile! pls help!

To ignore the call without rejecting it, press the volume down button located at the side of the phone.

does this one have the same GUI as the D900i ?
does it have the same problems as d900i ?
the D900i would usually mix up contact_names
and their corresponding_number, does it happen here as well ?
is the phone slow to respond ?
can you compare the load times with the D900i ?
[just a normal,slower/faster rating would do]
is the screen flimsy ? does it become loose on usage ?
anyone had to replace ? if so, why ?

hey guys,
can anyone tell me if we can swap the battery of the E840 with the battery of the D900i ?
[is the size of the battery on the E840, same as the one on the D900i ?]
also, there is no official confirmation whether it has FM Radio .
do you guys keep hitting the wrong buttons
[the touch sensitive ones] all the time ?
I mean, they do seem to be placed appropriately .but, what are your views ?
Can you feel the numbers on the alpha numeric pad / can you at least navigate , without seeing the keypad ?
how long does the battery life last ,in reading mode, on the Picsel Viewer, with the phone option enabled ?
[as in, not in 'flight_mode']

I just bought this phone couple of days ago, and its amazing. but can any one tell me how to ignore the calls without disconnecting? like the function which all mobiles have now days-the phone stops ringing, but the caller still hears the ring! also is the any way to keep touch pad buttons active all time! they get locked even while the conversation is on! pls help

hey this phone is sexy and i am happy that i got rid of fatty sets nokia which i hsd been using for 4 years ,this phone is slim in 2 megapixel category which no other brand offer even N72 which is a fatty set.It resulution is good and colours are awoesome.

Hi I got this phone and its got some great features. For anyone that didn't know it has a wicked feature - vivid text! If you go to messages - settings - text message - receiving options - select on to view in vivid mode! Its great certain words are replaced with a picture i.e. love is a heart! Its cool!! I was told it was not on the phone and it doesn't actually advertise this great feature and its not in the user manual either! Try it there are loads of preset pictures instead of words! I'm glad to say that they put allowed you to use your own songs as an alarm tone and also text message tone instead of using one of their preset ones! The camera is good sometimes blurs though which is a bit annoying. Good editing features though! Shame you can only have black or white skin! Overall its a good good phone!

I'm not very happy with battery...
I need to charge it every second day,
I'm not phoning so much, not playing, not listening music...
But the battery goes down so quickly!!!

got the phone just a few days ago. very neat, small and sexy. some hitches i dont like about it --- too touch sensitive, gets to call people when u dont actual want to, text messaging not very friendly but may be with time will get used to it. not happy with alarm as alarm only goes off when its only on loud mode meaning i have to go to bed with my phone on loud!!

Hey someone said that you can have really girlie themes on the phone but there is just one set on my phone?
love the phone texting is a bit hard because of the sides but you get used to that, but apart from that it is a really good phone looks great. Also can you have a wake up call alarm? i've got a 2gb memory card and it's really good, stores loads of photos.
