im samsung E840 user since 26Dec2007 til now... din hav any problem about it... quite good... nice design... luk high class... al my fren lov it..^^ although de volume of player is kinda low... bt its ok 4 me... de touch screen loved by al my frens... they lik use my hp FUN!!

I am using this phone since last one and half year and it is a great phone. Everybody likes it. Regarding features: Camera - picture quality is nice, Music - volume little low but of good quality, voice clarity- good, Themes - sorry, only one theme. voice recording - good. Keys - one has to become used to to the soft touch function then it is enjoyable. GPRS - fast. in conclusion, I recommend this phone strongly.

Very bad fone, I think Samsung no ability for make better fone with full spec and quality like Nokia or HTC.

hello all .. I'm using E840 since 9 month and it start causing problem. it shows full memory however my cellphone is empty , can any one knows how to resolve this issue .. I am waiting for your response

Number 1 :
is not for people who are carreles, is doesn't have tollerance from impacts.
Number 2 :
The camera is bad.it takes pictures like an old VGA
Number 3 :
The touch keys are a killer.
In conlusion think again ;)

Monica please tell your friend that he has to try other brands of celfones aside from Samsung so he can objectively compare features and durability.

this is a great phone. i know someone who uses this and he made a smart decision buying this. He really is the smartest and knows what to recommend!

For those who love sending SMS/text messages using T9, this is one of the few Samsung phones that allow you to return or go back to a previous word to change it (by pressing the "0" key) without having to erase the word and retype it and then choose an option. Saves a lot of time and frustration. Why doesn't Samsung do this to all their phones' software. The U600 has the same software but you can't change the word easily.

i`ve just bought this phone.it`s realy good but at the first day i bought it,the downloaded images sometimes appear and somtimes they seem like they are scratched,look green and don`t appear. just today my photoes do the same.i don`t know what should i do
Lax,you said you bought it since the day it was released can you advise me pleeeeeease!

lax here To install games u need jad file also along with jar file
most downloaded games dont come with jad file
so install 'jad maker' in ur 'PC' drag and drop jar file in it and a jad file 4 the game is created. transfer both
jar& jad 2 ur phone and install 'jad'file

am using it since the day it was released and no probs
till now. only issue is the battery backup but then
4 so slim a phone cant ask 4 much. the other issue is
speaker vol which is a bit low. dropped it many times
still didnt break. and working fine

for installing games type the code *#9998*4678255# and
u can install games for 24hrs. to install after that
type the code again and is activated.first transfer
jar & jad file of the game to ur mobile and it will be
stored in the 'other files'. now go 2 jad file and open
it and install game option appears. so do it and game is
installed.(lvettai@yahoo.ca)
