oh man this phone looks just great no frills
frankly who really needs a camera, mp3 players on a mible phone??
a camera that would costs you more than 250quids where picture quality would be worse than 40quids stand alone digital camera.
or a mp3 player that can barely plays 2hours music.
mobile phone is a mobile phone. they should stick to the original concept.
make it lighter, thinner, with battery lasting longer. with user friendly interface.
that's all i ask for.

Samsung is definately ahead of other phone manufacturers for sure! TV broadcasting phones are already a massive hit in Korea. and the best thing about it is, viewing TV is 100% free!!!!!!!!And the trend of having small/slim phones are over! With large screens and massive buttons means eldery people can see it with ease. At the moment, the mobile fashion trend in Korea is = bigger the better~ (personally i prefer small phones)

all i can say is, fans to other manufacturer are scrambling into pieces, knowing that samsung is very way ahead of the competition, and that is not all, there is more to come, from slim to swivel screen, tv broadcasting, 3g, and voice to text and more. I am not saying this phone has it all but this is one of the example features shaking other manufacturers to tremble. LOL, I believe on samsung because this company does not have the idea of "ME TOO" behavior, not like other manufacturer which copies one features to another in order to overcome one.

OMG, another new phone by samsung, but still no 3g. Samsung should have make more 3g phones, nokia already made dozens of 3g phones. What are those people in samsung are thinking?

hahaha.."JJ" thought all the white phones look like LG U880. This baby is much better than that..except keypad design..why Samsung didnt use any of their exsisting ones?
I wonder when Apple will start making cell phones with their iPod design. That would be cool isnt it? imagine a iPod nano with cell phone features..people will go nuts.

not agree, the keypad look vintage, its very nice like the overall design. Just hope that the plastic quality will be good.
The only drawback on this phone is the poor screen definition, I would like to find a QVGA here. But perhaps that is to increase the autonomy of this nice slim body...

PLEASE stop babling about 2Mpixels. It doesnt make much sense with that size of lens!!
All you'll get is NOISE. Then you need an algorithm to blur this noise out, and ends up with less effective resolusion. I repeat this over and over, but people just won't listen....
Do you think a 'real' camera have a large heavy and expensive lens-system just for fun?!?!?
