not agree, the keypad look vintage, its very nice like the overall design. Just hope that the plastic quality will be good.
The only drawback on this phone is the poor screen definition, I would like to find a QVGA here. But perhaps that is to increase the autonomy of this nice slim body...

PLEASE stop babling about 2Mpixels. It doesnt make much sense with that size of lens!!
All you'll get is NOISE. Then you need an algorithm to blur this noise out, and ends up with less effective resolusion. I repeat this over and over, but people just won't listen....
Do you think a 'real' camera have a large heavy and expensive lens-system just for fun?!?!?

victor! what is NOKIA design then? all the phone looks like that anyway... the difference is that this one is slimmer, wider screen, mp3 player and memory card slot what else do you need?

Out of all the Samsung phones, this one finally caught my attention. A few suggestions for Samsung:
1) Bluetooth & USB = make sure it's workable & problem free from phone to PC and vice-versa, from E870 to other brand phones and vice-versa.
2) A 2MP camera would be nice, though anything between 1.3MP to 2MP is ok if price is a factor.
3) Videos limited by memory card capacity only.
4) UPGRADE the Li-Ion 800 mAh battery!
5) Flight mode + multi tasking
6) Silver colour is old. Have newer colours. Eg. platinum, gold, mercury...(it helps if the colours/material of faceplate doesn't turn into a fingerprint reader)
7) Price = Don't overprice yrselfs. Below US$250 would be good :p.
Would like to commend Samsung for the memory specs, the MP3/WMA player and the smashing looking E870. Will be waiting in anticipation...

samsung announces numerous models but they never see reality,perhaps koreans gone crazy. Like s500i was announced 4th qtr05 but nowhere. sam should concentrate on less with variety.Their flip models r so jumbled up u cannot figureout which one.Themes concept is still lacking as was bluetooth introduced very late,even card slot is recent Take Care
