This phone does NOT have a flash for the camera. the specifications on this site are wrong about this.
Also there is no document viewer (Picsel or any other). The E900 has the Picsel viewer. On E890 you can copy documents (word, powerpoint, excel, PDF etc) in the memory, but cannot view them on the phone. and as far as i know, you cannot install the picsel viewer on this phone.
if someone else had any luck with this or knows another software that works, let us know

are you sure there are 2 speakers (Left and Right) on this phone?? i thought there is only one.

why you need license key.? to open office file.? most of recent samsung phone int. with office viewer program call "Picsel" order to use it. just save what ever office file (word, PowerPoint, excel and PDF) into ur mobile and open them. and it will automatically start with Picsel program.

Everyone,
I have just fixed my phone so that it receives sms and picture messages from T-mobile!! I did it without any tech support!!I am going to tell you the order I did everything. Here is what I did:
Automatic network locator: Menu-settings-network service-automatic
Inabling my GPRS MMS- Dial: #*7287# press send
Then I went to: Messages-settings-multi media message profile-profile settings-profile 1.
Then:
Profile name:MMS
Server URL:
http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
Proxy: Enabled
Click on GPRS Settings
IP address: 216.155.165.50
Port:8080
APN:
Login:
Password:
Press save
Version: 1.2
Save again
Then go to the Multimedia-Current Profile
Make sure the button next to MMS is pressed
I am not sure if your phone is programed the same as mine but I just got mine out of the box, unlocked and unbranded, an hour ago. After doing this I took a picture of myself and sent it to myself. It let me send it then about 10 seconds later I recieved a message of a sexy mf (me)!!
Now if someone can just help me find a way to make my caller ID work. Everyone rings in as "Unknown". I did the hard part, geez...

We got 4 new E890 phones, my brother and his wife got theirs but mine and for my wife are being shipped so probably we'll get them this week. The only thing I noticed is that even though T-mobile is our service, Cingular is what we noticed is on the screen. Is there in any way to change or remove this? pls help.

then change it to open.

Anyone notice that when you receive SMS text, the caller phone # is displayed rather than the name saved in the phone.
Any ideas how to fix?

My headphones work just fine. I'm talking about the speakers on the phone itself. Nothing comes out of the left speaker. Does anyone know who I'm supposed to contact to get the phone serviced?

MMS messaging...
Unfortunatly the info that T-Mobile sent me is customer specific so I'm not going to be able to post it. Try contacting them again. Ask for technical support. Explain that you're having problems with your MMS. Tell them that it is a phone that they do not support. They should be able to figure it out. If they are being stupid e-mail me and I'll see what I can do.
