Had this phone for 1 year, then it got stolen.
Must say I was pretty pleased with it, no complaints.
I agree on this phone being a delicate thing.

I think its a great phone I even bought from my pops,
the thing here is to be delicate with it... definetly NOT the phone for tough fingers.

i hate this phone i have it for more than two years because muuy mum wont buy me anothe one ; fat cow !!
but anyway i hate it because wheneva i press sumthing it goe to another thing and its annoying it wont let me put more tha 15 songs stupid fone !!!

I actually own one of these as a secondary phone to my nokia 9500 communicator. The sensitive touchpad is really a pain even if you get used to it. Accidental presses happens frequently. Its music is good however, you are limited to only 30 songs per playlist (4 playlist x 30 = 120 mp3s). Camera is Good but the catch is it will take at least 2 seconds to have a clear shot, otherwise it gets blurry. In short the camera has lags longer than other cameraphones of the same class. I im to rate it scale 1 to 10 i'd give it a 7.5. Designwise, its a 10.

Good phone, had it for 2 years ongoing. User-friendly and comfortable to use. Dropped it so many times but still functions as though nothing happened. Don't use the camera or mp3 player though, but camera flash makes a good torchlight.

If you are a text freak it is certainly not a phone for you, the camera setting don't get fix :S, battery is pathetic and as samsung's legacy no good ring tone!
MP3 player sound is very low, and touch pad is just a hassle
No doubt colors and graphics are good screen is wide and bright

The battery life is poor, barely lasts for one day with occasional talking. Cant read anything when outdoors, the plastic covering screen is glossy like a mirror. Mine broke - screen occasionaly goes blank, tried other FW, cant fix it, probably ribbon cable broke. Dont buy it, it was good when it was released in 2006, but today its just an old phone with bad battery life and screen problems.

great phone, ive had no problems with it. battery life is excellent, gives you your basic functions, you've just got to get used to the touch pad! :)

Its a good phone....has a great resolution output...however the main problem is the battery it doesnt last long..if you listen to songs for more than 90 minutes be prepared to charge the battery...Another problem is the camera ..indoor picture is poor...Outdoor picture quality is excellent...i hav used this phone for 2 years

This samsung is a really great phone.camera is good music speaker is good.the screen is bright and clear.slide up is great.had the cell since christmas which is almost a year now not a problem at all.the phone has fallen a few times still like brand new.the headphones that is comes with is good.the battery is good.so my comments are that this is a must have phone.so go out there and buy it.the only thing u have to get use to is the touch sensitive buttons in a few days u will get use to it.
