wow this phone is rocking guys but i dont like the battery life of samsung phones that is one reason i gave up samsung few years ago but this phone makes me think that i should buy another samsung but im a bit confused since this page shows the phone got 3 h talk time but another web site shows that it got 6 h talk time which site is true ?

if you want an hsdpa phone, go for u700, if u want a more fashionable slim fone, go for u600.
if you want a phone with the latest samsung gui and a touch navi pad, then go for e950.
all the phones are great. i have tried the 3 phones (since my brother owned e950, my sister owned u700 and i owned u600), u600 is a lot better than u700. only that it doesnt have hsdpa and a front videocall camera.
take note that both u series has autofocus in the camera, a feature e950 lacks.
and also u600 and e950 records in cif resolution at 15fps on its video, u700 records on what they termed as ancient, qcif resolution.
all these phones are great and its feature depends on the demands of the user. i don't recommend you anything since u may not like after buying it and discovering its cons.

U600
U700
E950
i care most in camera quality, music player(with loudspeaker), processing and menu respond speed, battery life, and durability.

guys, this is a great phone. its slick, futuristic in its looks and feels good to handle. On the other hand, the screen is small and the music player has a very slow response.
You can change the touch screen menu.
overall i would rate it 7 out of 10.

some satisfying answers...
1st it can take fotos much faster coz of the absence of "auto focus" i nany position.
2nd the speaker is SUPERB!!the best SPEAKER FONE for NOW! its very loud and very clear its socalled "ice amplifier" and not so sure but made by bang&olufsen(europes best!)
3rd samsung introduced "slider" fones dont worry bout the slider only nokia is having prob. with it.

final- the speaker of this fone i think is its trademark and the D-pad.

could you still change the shortcuts in the touch panel when it's on the home screen or it's really programmed to be just fixed shortcuts?

I'm thinking whether to buy this phone or not and having T-mobile in Chicago is the only one thing that stops me.
Does anyone has this phone and T-mobile as an operator?

hello E950 users,
i'm going to buy this phone.
so i want to know about this phone.
fisrt, this phone can take photo with handset in verticle or horizontal position.
second, what's the music quality of this phone with loud speaker.
third, what's the camera quality of this phone. is camera fast?
finally, i want to know this phone has any hardware problem such as slider, or touch keys, battery or anythig.
i'll appreciate any adcice from u.

with all do respect it says 6 hours talk time in the gsm arena site but in the official web site it says 3 hours of talk time which one is true ... please help as im looking forward to buy this phone thank you ...

Samsung may hang because of soft problems, get it fixed if it happens often. About E950 I liked the screen, sound, touch pad/screen thing, very easy to use. But i'd prefer S/E instead because of battery life, sound quality (W series), soft, handling.

Well the applications are attractive, but it keep on hang, hang and hang...
it happen everyday..
when SMS "hang"
when browse picture "hang"
when MMS also "hang"
the worst part is once it hanged, u will need to take out the battery, then fix it back to restart the phone.
I hope samsung will solve this SERIOUS problem.
