This phone looks great! I have a Samsung right now, and I gotta say, its pretty sturdy considering how many times I've dropped it. The software is easy for me to use. I'm actually glad that Samsung is coming out with more stylish phones! Especially the slider ones. =]

Geez...I have had a Samsung or SonyEricsson phone ever since I can remember, and the reason that I like them is BECAUSE of the OS. Nokia? slow. Motorola? backwards and non functional. Other than switching to a MS based phone, there's no better OS than the Symbian OS.

as usual Samsung phones are below par,..Korean technology is not the way to go.
still pretty much a 3rd world quality in comparison to the likes of Nokia

Instead of focusing only on the design, Samsung should try to improve their software which s*cks big time. Their phones are such illogical and a real pain to use.

True. Why can't Samsung realize most people don't like touch sensitive keys and won't buy this phone because of that ? I used one of them and sold it after a few days, back to a normal keyboard....

OK, maybe this design is kinda bland, but seriously, this is not the only freaking phone that samsung is coming out with, they have the f700, f520, f210, all unique in their own right, so please stop acting like all samsung makes are d500 lookalikes

I don't like this phone. Design worse than original E900, very inconvenient touch keys, very average battery life. I think Samsung falls to idea crisis. I know many people who moved from Samsung to other models because Samsung trying to push people to use touch keys ( many people does't like them) and don't even try to extend battery life. Actually, battery life in Samsungs is getting worse with every new model. I'm waiting for really interesting models with every release from Samsung but get disappointed every time...
