i just got the phone. its cool looking but lacks a few features. If you recieve a text and read it straight away without going into the inbox you cant see who its from. also it is so complicated to use at 1st and the battery life is worse than a sirocco, other than that it cool and works well

I got this phone last few days that one of the Vodafone people introduce me to have this fone. i feel that this phone is slim and good. good for mp3 player listening song. and the screen is so tiny and it's so unique. u all have to buy tis fone to satisfy ur life!! I support SAMSUNG to the max!!!! see you......

I have this phone and believe me it is a real head turner! Every single person who has seen it has been intregued as to firstly what it is and secondly how it works. I have never been a fan of samsung phones as i have always stayed with SonyEricsson but i just had to get this phone for is fetures (dual sides) and its fantastic look!
I have the Sony Ericsson W950i also but find it too big at points, the F300 is perfect for the pocket and once you get used to the mp3 side and controls it is very simple to use.
Very impressed with the phone would recomend to anyone who likes music and stylish phones !

i seriously think that this forum/opinions session is indeed very misleading to potential samsung buyers. as what some of you might have said earlier on, please get the facts right before posting. this beauty is known as a dual face phone. one side for phone functions and on the other side, music player functions. in order to get quality music, just plug in the stereo headset, this phone is being position as a music player. have you seen anyone walking on the street with music blasting out from their ipod? be rational and logical. if you want good features, good camera, good ringtone quality, huge memory, then get a king kong size nokia n73 or n93 or sony ericsson k800 or p990. samsung cares for design and no doubt samsung has won numerous awards, starting from e800, d500, d600, d820 and now d900. they will be more to come and those experts out their are not sleeping. they have a reason for their nominations. samsung has come out with so many 'world's first'...d500 - world's first semi auto slider, d600 - world's first phone with tv output, d820 - world's first slider with rotating camera & tv output, z560 - world's first hsdpa phone, then we have the 5.9, 9.9 and 12.9 ultra edition being the world's slimmest bar, clamshell and slider phones. i have got a few tips for all the samsung mobile users out there, it might be of good use in your decision making process when buying samsung mobile phones.
1. pay attention to the center button, some of them have got 'i' and some of them have got 'ok'. those with 'ok', the phone can ring and vibrate at the same time for incoming calls.
2. for samsung internet browsers, it can auto refresh the page every 1 minute, compared to nokia symbian phones, you will actually have to keep pressing 'back' and click on option to refresh the page.

a very unique design, samsung can make a phone only with this phone design and take awawy the mp3 player. it will be a new wide small screen phone....nice design to hav for a phone

Even if this phone comes with 20hr battery life for playing music..when you use it for the conversation for 2-3 hrs, most phones battery goes flat...

What if the songs are stored in the memory card will it play the next song after finishing the pervious one can some1 please reply me, does any1 noe how long dis fone will last in music playin, some1 please help

Before releasing it to real, please improve the battery life. As a music phone oriented, it should have at least 20 hours non-stop music life battery.

hi this is for james, as for your questions it is not touch screen there is a back side to it which contain a small screen so u can see wat number u r dialing and the numeric keypad is in the back for this model and the f500
