Tell you what I have noticed, The Network widget cant be put where you want it on the screen. (Orange is up top and Vodafone is bang in the middle)
I've had it both on Orange and Vodafone.
When I move the network widget to a where I want it and then reboot the phone it's back to it's default position.
I've even tried to put it in the sidebar but again when rebooting the phone it's in it's default position.

Is there anyway to rectify this...?

well i've had a whole day to play around with my new phone and i couldnt be happier. I did have a problem getting it connected with the computer seeing as the manual was as useful as a chocolate teapot and didnt help at all. Got that sorted with help from the samsung helpline though. 10 times better than the secret - i'm lovin it!!
If i have anymore problems, i think i'll be back on here but at the moment, i cant see anything i need to do.

Hey,

I am thinking of getting this phone but just wondering if the leather case, that you can see from one of the photos on this website actually comes with the phone or do you need to buy it?

this fone is well sick i got it on contract a few days ago an am propa buzzin off it me lad, it can also be used as a weapon just hold it tight an wack sum1 ova the head 4 a instant knock out... IT REALLY WORKS!!

I haven't been able to find a document viewer in the version supplied in UK by Vodafone. Also, they do not support sending and receiving attachments via email as far as I can see.

When you sync with windows media player, how can you get it to show the album art? Album art will show on the my computer on WMP but not when I transfer the songs to my phone using the Windows sync option when you plug in the cable to connect to the computer. 1 or 2 songs have transfered with art but I cant figure out why the rest wont.

I got this phone a couple of days ago and boy am i impressed. Being a die hard SE fan i was rather reluctant to get the samsung but i am really glad i did...

The touch screen is a breeze to use and is responsive enough without being overly sensitive.
Applications such as messaging are a simply wonderful. You can even send an sms with one hand while holding on to the rails in the bus or train which is a real plus point... If u are scared that u wont like a phone without a keypad, take a chance on the f480, in my opinion the tochscreen is just as good, if not better than a keypad!

I guess the only drawbacks are that one can barely see the screen contents when out in the sun and that the speakers are a little soft... camera quality also should be worked on... But overall the phone is great to use and is more than just good looks...

Most calls in the US are over this low freq. In time more and more calls will migrate to higher freq outside of Urban areas with high volume freq and 3G.

i have difficulty in removing the battery cover..can anybody give me some advise or technique?lol. i wanna try my leather case cover.. and also advise to capture better quality photos?thanks..

Dear All,

I am about to buy this phone but since it's not yet launched in India, i have to get it from the grey market. Hence, wanted to know if anyone has faced problems in sound quality and touch screen detection. As, repairing cost for touch screen pad is immensely expensive here.

Guys pls take time out and advise!!!
