For texting, the phone remembers that last format you used so if you use T9 then next time you text it defaults to that. However, when you need to write in other areas (such as calendar) it always defaults to 'abc'. I agree, it's very annoying, especially as there is also no button to capitalise a single letter

I dont want to have to put my pictures on a computer for em to look good..and you only need a 2mp camera for a normal 6x4 photo anyways..

If someone can tell me how to rotate a picture..then SAVE it to wallpaper then i woud change al opinion...thats my main hate.

and u cannot have your own SCREENSAVER i dont mean wallpaper..

I have the phone on orange andi have 3 other orange contract phones..the signal is much better on them..so its not the network

its holds only 200msgs

n i wanna c my pics look good on my phone... when i set them as wallpaper.. also the camera reaction is slow

I work in the shop where i got it from so i no i dont have a faulty handset.

Hi

Has anyone else managed to chip the silver function bar yet i have and not sure if the quality should have been little better on this area as i didnt even do anythin harsh for this to happen.

music quality is good i listen to mine lots in work and get plenty of battery life to listen txt and call.

yer the headphones im not too keen on but am a fan of sony ones but getting used to them otherwise just get an adaptor for one you like.

Got this phone yesterday,I love it.
I agree that texting is a bit slow but I can live with that and I'm sure I'll get faster. Am I missing something or can I not set T9 as default writing mode?
I've always been a big fan of Sony Ericsson and the two previous times I tried Samsung I returned them within the 14 days as I couldn't get on with them, this one however is different! I think we will spend many happy days together.

You can get an adaptor on ebay for about 99p that plugs into the multi plug and has a standard 3.5mm on it! Then you can put any headphones in!

My mine gripe is the crappy earphones that come with it...unless you've ears like Dumbo, they won't go in / won't stay in! Went back to the shop to see what other earfones were available and the girl in the shop said most Samsungs suffered from this prob. Tried to get a 3.5mm adaptor (as the Samsung has a unique interface for the earfones) but none in shop and can't find on 'net. Am considering some bluetooth earfones but pricey...

- mine is fine, and images transferred to pc look good IBTW, I also run a Canon DLSR)
*They drop calls halfway through,
- never had any probs

- never had a problem, but admittedly I don't send or recieve more than 10-12 a day and tend to housekeep regularly.

- yes u can, but not easy to figure out how. See my earlier reply to anonymous
*Cannot have a screensaver of your own choice

*Very quiet when ringing...
- dunno as mine's on a discreet vibrate as I try not to annoy others...
*Video editor is extremely hard to use aswell..
- dunno.

Had mine since end of June and TXTing is awkward but I've gotten used to it and the overall package is pretty impressive, plus I've yet to come across anyone else with one!

Hi guys and gals! Gameloft are now doing touch screen games for the F480 at £3 a piece.... there are only about 10/15 at the moment, but they take into account that annoying grey bar at the bottom of Java applications so you don't get a bit cut off. They also work with the touch screen, so all good! Check out their site and get some fun on this awesome phone! :oD

Cos on Vodafone delivery reports are Free and on Orange they are 0.009p that's less than a penny...?

The 5Mp camera is brilliant, The pics don't look that great on screen but when you put them on a PC they look fantastic.

I have to say i am very disspaointed with this phone..

It looks great.. but:
*The 5mp camera is crap,
*They drop calls halfway through,
*Signal is rubbish,
*Dusnt hold many msgs,
*Cannot rotate pictures & save them as wallpapers
*Cannot have a screensaver of your own choice
*Very quiet when ringing...
*Video editor is extremely hard to use aswell..

I wish i could say different, but i wudnt recomend thia phone..
