this phone has very good specs, and keeping in mind that it doesn't have wifi its still 5 stars. i just noticed that wifi and gps are so unnessacary for me. here in nyc you can barely get a gps signal off your phone due to the skyrises and the high buildings. another thing is that wlan/wifi is so pointless becuase you can never get a signal except at certain places. i have a laptop so i wouldn't need wifi at home. i am hoping this is priced no more than 590 bux, that way i can get it. wonderful phone

Im very interested in this phone. Does is come with a stylus pen and is it a slide phone?
So far nothing abt tis phone is a turn-off yet. Anyone can recommend something better?

ach,the looks of Samsung phones...to die for,really.but,battery ? usually lets you down after 3 hours of heavy duty. wallpaper ? some models lets you full screen it some dont. you wanna zoom on a pic received through bluetooth ? 9 models out of 10 can't do it...sound coming out of it ? 8.5 out of 10 models will make you cry,the only one i've enjoyed for its sound was D500 and its provided little speaker.and bugs,my God ,and people complain about Nokia,tss tss. then you look for accessories...ah ah can't find any.No,really,ask to use it for a day before you buy any Samsung model,test the sound coming out of it,the zoom and battery,see if it blocks and need to restart and how many times a day it does it,the only feature that never disappoint is its bluetooth,i believe it is the faster of all brands..while Motorola is the slowest by far if not the most complicated.but this is Symbian Nokia made,definitely worth a try

Not everyone is looking for every feature under the sun in a phone, some people just want a phone! If Samsung put every feature possible in a phone they would only need to sell one phone, but different people have different needs, hence a range of different phones.

Hey people...I think you guys need to change your opinion of things.
iPod touch has wi-fi, and it's not so exciting. Tiny screen, and you have to keep zooming a stuff to get a clearer and/or better view. I mean seriously, if you need wi-fi, get a desktop. The screen is at least 5 times larger. Plus you get a full size keyboard.

no standard os means very limited flexibility. couple that with samsung's apparent hate of wifi and you you have a 'why bother'er on your hands.
i expect to see this only in the hands of fashion freaks who don't give a rats ass about technical specs.
oh yeah, for a screen this large, the pixel count could have been higher.
