i read somewhere that LG and Samsung share the same factory for phones? i might be wrong, but that would explain how their designs are so similar.

Samsung never copy LG buth of them has one disteny.
it is good but it can be the best by having autofocus on 5MP camera and WLAN and also better in camera recording.
I hope the best for samsung

Hopefully this phone will appear in the Philippine merket. The design is very classy and elegant. Sure it will have an expensive price..

nice specs and form factor ... but without wireless lan? Imagine the cost to use full web browser. The web loading would cost a bomb unless you have unlimited package with telco on gprs usage.

If the phone had this, if the phone had that...it would be perfect. Each company makes various phones and you pick the one that has the best features for you. Some people dont want a phone with a million features and the price tag that comes with it. This phone isnt meant to be a smartphone so it doesnt have windows mobile. The ratings for this phone are way too low for what the phone offers...and I'm not sure how people can rate its performance without using it. I do agree that samsung can be very annoying because they don't make a lot of quad band phones. Please remember that not every new phone should have every possible new feature

not all features can fit in a phone half as thick as n95 if samsung wanted all the features this phone would be thicker

nokia 16m colour displays are capable of showing 16m but they dont they they only show 256k colours stop thinking 16m is better samsungs screen are much better than nokias brighter and they just plain look better

ps just looked at the specs, there is only one thing that this phone got. which is a fab idea and all phones should have it on.
A 3.5mm headphone socket. come on most buy a phone (yes for a phone) but next a MP3 player. must be only nokia that managed to fit one.

but i saw this phone and ......
camera is good but g800 and g600 are better .

Very attractive, sleek, nice form factor, and beatufiul screen. Though it's not the most fully loaded phone, it does have some exceptional features. If it had an OS, WiFi, Autofocus, VGA 30fps video recording, DivX playback, a faster processor (even though the processor isn't mentioned in the specs), and a motion sensor, the phone would be perfect. And it does seem possible. Hopefully the successor with have some of those features.
