@ AI, the lack of push email is a huge disappointment. You may be able to get a client from DataViz (www.dataviz.com) but from what I've seen the Java version has pretty limited functionality. I’m not sure if there are any other Push Email clients for Java only phones. If you get the chance could you please tell me if you can create and edit Word and Excel files and is there a PDF reader on the phone? Thanks.
@ mHnX, I think it uses Samsung's own OS. Early reports said that it would be a Windows OS but I guess that became impossible once they moved to the larger screen with an unsupported resolution. The downside of that is that there are going to be few useful apps for it.
does anyone know what os this phone uses?
I read somewhere that this is a smartphone, but I cant seem to find out what OS this phone operates on
I just got an F700 today but it doesnt have push email, has anyone managed to get it to work? thanks.
It's finally available online! http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/ind...WT.svl=link1
I too work for Vodafone (Business dept) and we've had massive amounts of calls in regarding this handset. It's just as popular amongst the staff as it is among our customers! The initial delivery into the UK has actually been delayed and we're now expecting them in on Monday 3rd December (not 30th November as expected). Definitley worth the wait though - it's more like an iPod Touch than a mobile, but with the addition of a funky QWERTY keyboard and push email support (not to mention free Bose earphones worth 70 quid). I'm on the waiting list myself...
You better can get the F700. With the Vieuwty are some problems Ive heard with the touchscreen. It damage to easy.
The F700 is also released now in Holland (just heard a commercial of Vodafone). I might take a look today (I'm working in the Phonehouse).
Hey People I Work in a vodafone store and yes its true the sexy f700 should be in our stores as from the 5th or 7th of december, but customer services already have them

I work for Vodafone and this phone, which is exclusive to us, will be released in the UK this Friday (30/11/07), although some store may not have it on general release until the following Monday
i been told by the vodafone shop that it'll be coming out in the uk by the end of november. they alrdy have the dummy phones and testers out alrdy so should be good... tho i'm split between this and the lg viewty
hi there, wat do you mean greater keyboard? can you use mp3 for ringtone in messaging like nokia? pls reply asap thanks
Lack of an FM radio is a terrible error. Most if not all phones (such as Viewty, N95, K850i, K800i, U600!! etc etc) have them. I got to play with a mockup F700 the other day in Vodafone store and the slideout QWERTY keyboard is the best of any device I have ever tried, but the lack of radio means I won't be upgrading to it. Samsung? What were you thinking? Add a radio and I'll get one.
The camera on the f700 is 3.15mp,,,, i know,,,, i own one! i work in vodafone and got my hands on one early,,, and,,,,,is it worth the wait,,,,,YES! trust me you'll want one. it could have done with a better qwerty keyboard, i keep forgetting where the space bar is! but if you forget that little glitch then you have a fantastic phone. btw it looks better than in the pictures!
