This phone has software issues, the screen freezes when you trying to answer a call or end a call and will not respond for about 10 secs, I have 2 of them and they are both the same! The querty keyboard is great and the other functions are quite trick, but I would wait for the updated version with software that works!!!

Would this phone be worth buying? I was thinking about buying it, but I can't seem to make up my mind. I was thinking about buying either the Samsung F700, this phone, or either the LG KF700. Could somebody state the good stuff and the bad stuff? Please and thank you.

Hi guys,
I am thinking about getting this phone but i have few questions i wanna ask you..
Are the speakers any good? (bcoz i have Samsung u700 and the speakers are pretty bad)
Can i install any applications on the Phone?
How is the touch sensitivity?
can it play avi files?
Can i get GPS to work on the Phone??

I went from a Sony Ericsson W900i to this... bad move. Alright, it has the best QWERTY keyboard i've used simply because the keys are well spaced and respond well.
The camera is not worthy of even being mentioned... the graining on the photos is horrid & it only seems to work under bright sunlight.
You can't change the themes...which doesn't suit me. Touch screen might sound cool, but if it doesn't respond favourably, then its pointless. After this, i'm not going to be buying another touchscreen phone for sometime to come.
The touch screen is a frustration when you recieve a call because it first has to be "activated", which causes an unneccessary delay.
battery life is quite good though considering the screen size. Overall, looks good... but a rather disappointing package.

i cannot download any apps especialy mxit on my f700, .it always says unsupported content. wats da easiest solution 2 my problem? plz culd sum1 help a.s.a.p

please don't say you're judging this phone completely on the fact you cannot download games? many phones don't do that. games just ain't improtant on phones anymore it's about the camera and features nowadays. but a good replacement to this would be the tocco

I got my F700 on MTN and it comes with standard samsung software which does not support java (MXIT, ect) however you can download the vodafone version which allows you to use mxit and everything. If you search for "my broadband F700" and i think it was on page 3 , it gives you a link where as you can download and install the software. The software also comes with mobile tv and more. I use mxit and it works perfectly.

i love this phone, but it is so scares in jhb at the mtn retailer for a contract. i am waiting now for two weeks for one. do you have any idea of how mtn can get more of the f700 in stock?
