Lovely phone, no hick-ups. I strongly recommend, very fast internet acces. Design is awesome. But lacks functions. Cannot apply or change themes. Else, the music player is enjoyable with good sounds.

Beware of the touch screen on this device, it is particularly difficult to activate (frequently it doesn't detect that you've touched it), and it's decidedly lacking in accuracy (and does not work with a stylus). I found the samsung i900 or F490 to be better alternatives (though I find the Apple iPhone to have a much better touchscreen).

there is a method of installing java on even the manufacturer firmware - explained here : http://www.dreamstrikes.com/ap...g-tocca.html

its much more laborious, however, and its a long and a bit technical process.

For all those South Africans… And people that got it on the MTN network… Mxit is just not going to work, software updates from MTN Service centers are a waste of time.. after much frustration I got rid of my phone, nothing against Samsung, but they should tease us with a qwerty and not allow us to use it properly. I have recently seeked ‘greener pastures’ and bought a Nokia e71.. much better and much more user friendly, no touchscreen, and a proper qwerty.
PS) If you have a Vodafone version then you are a-ok!! =)

java is supported with Samsung F700 only problem is that is not supported with samsung default operating system version. You must install Vodaphone OS for this Phone you have all instructions on dutch website which someone posted here ( on dutch).
