can you access the internet? I mean, without using EiFi ofcourse... I understand this doesn't have one. But what if I use my networks'? Thanks

there is no need to update the software/firmware since it can already read SMS in the external screen...

I'm planning to buy this phone and I have heard that you can read messages through the external screen if you update the software. Now my question is: where do you update the software??? My V8 didn't need to be updated its software because the feature was built-in.

How can i browse the internet using G400? I connected it to my laptop and installed evrything from the cd that cam with it. Followed all the instructions. I created a dial-up connection sing the PC Studio but can't connect still. I am a Globe subscriber here in the Philippines. Please help. Thanks in advance.

also amr files can be use as a SMS ring tone
so the voice recording files can be set as ring tone for SMS.

personAL MSG RING TONE...
ive just found out that g400 can assign personal ringing tone for SMS..
here's how..go to contacts>the name of contacts( as long it is saved in phone memory not on simcard) >edit>options>add more fields>then select for msg tone>ok button>special tone>ok>choose a song or any ring tone that u would like ..its like MOTOTROLa phones where you can assign a personal ring tone for each contacts..hehehe..

I also kept my bluetooth on, maybe that's another reason why my phone has a shorter battery life. Anyway, I still need to check up on it, i'm still not a hundred percent sure about my answer. hehe thanks for asking
