Voice clarity when making or accepting a call is excellent.
MP3 SMS and MP3 Ring tones are loud and clear.
Listening to MP3s is also a great experience.
I would rate the sound 4.5 / 5, since I also have a Sony Ericsson w910i Walkman (rating is 4.75 for the mp3 sound quality alone) phone that produces a very slightly better sound compared to the G400.
However, I would pick the G400 anytime any day compared to the w910i.
Why?
- 5MP camera.
- Touch screen (when closed).
- Ultra long Battery Life (2 days).
- You can assign SMS MP3 tones to every contact as long as you copy it to the phone, which has a 100mb internal memory.
- Durability and It is a Clamshell phone which I Really really like…

Tips for better picture result ( specially in low light/dark places ) :
go to camera settings > iso > choose iso 800.
exposure metering > spot
u can also increase the brightness.
i was surprise last night when i did some test with my phone's camera..the result was really good specially in dark places..hehehe..hope it helps

1st check profile - settings - phone profile
if u use normal - choose options - edit
under incoming call scroll down to auto reply and turn it off..hope it helps.

I have one!... its greaaat!!.. but have two cons.
First one, its difficult to scroll down the music list with the external touchscreen... 2nd.. The camera flash its sooooooooo high, when u want to take a picture near the object the picture appears white!.
Pros... Excelent photo reso, loong life battery, nice selfphoto system and the external design is terrific overall!
Ps.. its cheap!! hahahaha excelent price/quality relation.

use it for a year plus... VERY SATISFIED... never bored with the design.. The camera is SUPERB except in dark place (but its ok.. i use my digicam).. The Mp3 use for 10 hours and my battere still got 1 bar... very satisfied.. Love to take my own picture when i flip it open... OWNED black color... looking for PINK color for my gf... too bad.. pink is limited edition.. no more available.. BOUGHT it 758 dollar singapore last year... Current price still at 568 dollar singapore UNLOCK/no contract...

heyy..m having major trouble. i have activated my 'auto message' by mistake...n now everytime i reject someones call..i get charged. its totally annoying coz i cant find the way to de activate it! pl tell me ASAP!

yeah i have a pink one..
the black one looks more decent..
im lovin my phone. well if you charge( 1st charge ) your phone properly it will last 2days or more..depend on ur usage..
