Samsung G800 - user opinions and reviews

Samsung

.
pJ8H,

don't you have a flash problem ?
Everywhere we can read the flash is very poor.
Is it a question of settings ? "Using the phone properly?"
Where can I find sample "photos with flash" ?

Thanks pJ8H

Your both talking out of your back sides.

This phone is by far better on the camera side than both Nokia & SE...

It more like a conventional camera than any phone I have ever had
And Just like anything else if you learn how to use it properly then the results are astounding

Sorry that was meant to say

it's not a thick as the Nokia N95

G800 - 18.8mm Thick
N95 - 21.0mm Thick

The camera is awesome

Did agree with you it takes dark picture and washed out! You need to turn off the flash in order to avoid dark picture (Sometimes!)

I was one of the first to get a G800 when it came out on vodafone, phone is built solid, nice styling but a bit bulky. Ring tone could be louder with a better choice of tones, my biggest problem was with the camera, pictures were coming out dark and washed out.
I had the phone for 2 days and returned it, overal I'm a little diappointed, I've been
offered a replacement but don't know if i like the phone that much to accept one.

It dose NOT have touch sensitive buttons. Text tones can be changed to you own Mp3's. SUCH A NICE PHONE I'd recommend it to anyone. WELL PLEASDE

I got this phone yesterday & sent it straight back today! Yes it may have a 5mp camera but it feels like, & is, as heavy as a brick. Also the functions are exactly the same as the E900, not impressed!

Please do. I have just been in to Vodafone and they now have a demo model in there so naturally I had a play. It is quite big but then again I am used to a D900i. It looks great though and think I am defo going to have this model if it ever gets released.

O2 are now saying that the release date is sometime in December but there is no official date.........yet. Apparently this is because, and I quote, "if the handset is not compatable with the network they just pull it!!!" ????? Not actually upgrading till 6 December 07 so we shall see. Fingers crossed
