Silver is horrible. Looks tacky, cheap, too 'blingy' and scuffs up way to easy. They should have kept it black or grey.

This phone looking good in style and for sure have good camera. For those who try to compare with N95 is comparing Apple and Orange. In terms of functional features, Samsung always behind Nokia and SE. And I am sure by the time this phone come out for sale, it may not even qualify as one of the top feature phone. However I like it because I am looking for style more than features!

What is the point for Samsung to have 3, 5 10 or 200 Mpix camera when they cannot even ring and vibrate at the same time, or having customized message ringtones ?

I work for 02 and a guy from Samsung came in today to give us a bit of training on the G600... I said i was thinking of getting one and all he said, or rather whispered was "wait".... My brain went into overdrive trying to think of new handsets, and I'm pretty sure that the F700 is vodafone exclusive so I asked him if it was the G800 and he just grinned and said "I cant comment". Samsung have a good relationship with o2 so it looks like it might be in our stores by new year!!

Is the reflective display going to be hard to see when under the sun like the one in the U700?

this phone shows how quickly things are moving at the moment, it has superb software, an excellent camera, and fantastic looks, well worth waiting for.
Although i hear S/E are producing a 6 megpix cybershot....oooohhhh

This has horrible battery life if it had SE's that would make this phone worth while. I love the the features but I would love to use them more then 3hrs.

It's not a TOP phone.
No EDGE.
No HSDPA.
No Wi-Fi.
No GPS.
Just a good phone.

N95 is still better than G800 overall. For the camera, the G800 may be better. However, we have to wait till the G800 is released, instead of making speculations...

Another bit of cool news was, that in addition to microSD, Samsung SGH-G800 supports micrSDHC memory cards as well. Now, currently available 4GB microSDHC cards are not that interesting. But bigger, 8GB cards are already on the way and the specification for microSDHC supports memory card sizes of up to 32GB. And that’s a lot of potential storage for a mobile device.
