what would be the best Samsung G810 application downloading sites? free symbian apps, that is :-). I'm looking for a nice french-engligh dictionary.

With regards to the short battery life of this unit, i remember the old tricks I used to use with my previous Nokia S60 phones..
1. Turn off the wifi if you're not using it(go to Settings\Connection\Wireless Lan and choose Never).
2. Turn off 3G if you're not using it too(go to Settings\Phone\Network and choose GSM under Network Mode.
Turning off these two settings extends the life of your battery to at least 2 days of light to moderate use. Unfortunately, the size of the display will take its toll on your battery life no matter what you do.
Even with all the shortcomings, this phone still rocks!

Hi guys! Does anyone know how to set the sms alert (un-read sms) My other phones can remind me every minute or so when there is a un-read sms. Or any freeware I can download?
Also, can you activate the front camera for self portrait or is it only for video call? Cheers!

Bought phone new and battery only lasted half day, send it back got new battery and it don't even last 1 day on standby. Have to use old phone now.

My G810 has 8gb microsdhc and work well till now.

Hi Guys,
I have a huge problem with this phone, battery is holding one day only, phone is new and really used for typing few sms-s per day. What could be wrong, do I have to turn off some application off but on the main screen it gives me only letter '' E '' that is on ( btw what does this mean )? Please if someone can help me. for the memory card capacity, i'm using an 8gb memory card w/ no troubles at all. used up about.....1.5 gb's of it. only thing is, if you have a ton of pictures like i do, takes a couple secs longer to load all the pictures and can't scroll too fast through them. but it's not much of an annoyance or anything
