akash vit, 02 Mar 2012IS galaxy ace 2 upgradable to ICS?
plz tell mei think samsung has no plan to upgrade it to ICS, but you can always flash a customROM ICS to it if ud like.
Though this is a good phone, Sony Xperia Neo V is better in processor and other stuff and Neo V will have an upgrade to ICS.
Iv just bought a Galaxy Ace. This is the first time Iv used touchscreen keypads and was soooo dissappointed, even after some practice they are clearly inferior to ordinary pads.
The editing feature for when u make typing mistakes on this phone is so finickety and hard to use it is driving me crazy!!! Wish id bought a key pad styled phone.
How long is the talktime & standby time ? How long does it take to charge the battery full with the phone turned off n on ?
jst waiting for the review of this phone,,,,,ow,does it support adobe flash ??
The CPU is NOT Dual-Core! it is a singe core Qualcomm MSM7230 Snapdragon S2 http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=c...comm_msm7230

Why does it say this model has android 2.3 and not 4.0? Would be weird if this one had 2.3 instead of 4.0

Anis, 28 Feb 2012If anyone searching for a mid range phn, then i should say, Ace 2 is the best.size, design, spe... moreYes, but it would be better if it came out right now. I'm afraid it might get a little outdated in April.
hadi, 26 Feb 2012if the dimension just like ace one then it will be better
I prefer higher pixel density than larger screen. That's why my present phone is Xperia Ray despite I'm a Samsung lover.
If anyone searching for a mid range phn, then i should say, Ace 2 is the best.size, design, specification everything is perfect
if anyone searching for a mid range phn,,then i should say, Ace 2 is the best,,..Size,design,specification evreything is perfect ,,i'll b vry happy if this phn get ICS
What you are looking at in the video is the Ace 2, a mid-ranger from Samsung's stable of smartphones that's exclusive to the European market for the time being. Loaded up with a dual-core 800MHz CPU and a TouchWiz-skinned build of Android 2.3.6, the phone moves along smoothly, though the slight delay between touch recognition and transitions takes a bit of adjustment for those used to higher-clocked handsets. It's also a typical design for the OEM, encased in plastic and registering with a good balance of weight in the hand. We'd have hoped the unit would've felt much lighter, owing to the materials employed in its construction, but that extra bit of heft does help elevate it away from any sense of cheapness.
