hi, am new to android and pretty much new in using a smart phone. rather an amateur when it comes to software downloading. is it possible to download softwares via PC and install them in my Galaxy Ace S5830. if yes how?

or else is it necessary to have a GPRS connection through my mobile network itself?

> In reply to Yatinkumar @ 2011-03-18 09:02 from ijyn - click to readYatin, thanks for the useful reply. Have you find any improvement in the battery life in the subsequent charges or it has same lifetime in the 1st day charge itself? How about the juice defender app?

As of now, I am a moderate user only and will use the phone mainly for calls/music and rarely some videos.. So, I am expecting this model battery will last for 2 days..

There was a race between ACE (Adroid)/ Wave II (BADA) as there is hardly 2000 bucks b/w these two .. But couldn't come to a final conclusion which one to buy...

If anyone can help me to come out from this confusion as I am getting frustration after reading all kind of reviews for a month...

> In reply to SAP @ 2011-03-18 07:09 from iISh - click to readAs per my observation if u do moderate usage it will definetly last for around 1-1.5 days and if u dnt use wifi gprs then it can go on till 2 days again will depend on other app usage.. What i will suggest is.. Battery is not that a big issue if u are a moderate user.. Yes if u go opt for heavy usage it wont last a day.. Hope i clear ur doubt

All set to go for this model and the only concern is about its battery life.

Can Yatin and others please confirm how about the battery usage after subsequent charging cycles?

I want to know how many days the battery will come if the usage is moderate (only making calls/sms/and listening to music for some time) and how many days for an average usage after swiching off GPRS/wifi/low brightness etc...

These information is very important like many of us who are in still dilemma whether to go for this or not?

Please respond and after seeing the replies from all of you we can take some clear decisions?

Thanks,
SAP
