Hi everyone! I am using SG Ace from last one week and facing an issue in which my device(whenever I open some app or setting) automatically vibrate for 3 times, after that screen becomes black and then comes to normal state..
Now what should I have to do?
Have Any other Ace user notice the same problem??
Please do reply soon!

Bettery life is better than my previous nokia c6.
Use low brightness.
Disable background data when not required.
Keep display time out 30 sec.
Use smart bettery moniter application from the android market to complete recharge the bettery.

Good smarphone! Considering the price, the screen, audio and storage is enought to perform basic and medium needs, it will be great antiscrath and more RAM

I previously had Samsung Wave and it was really superb, just dropped it in water so I sold it away. Now, got Ace in hurry and i don't find it nowhere around wave. Ace's battery is poor, processor is slow, ram is low, display is not scratch resistant, no proximity sensor, no support with kies (wonder why Samsung provided the kies cd in the box ?),

is htc salsa a great option over it because it has a better Android version RAM 512 ROM 512(where ace RAM 278 and ROM 158 ) a higher version of bluetooth 3.0 battery 1520 mAh but ace has a 800mhz processor (where salsa has a 600 mhz ) ace has a document editor

salsa can play .xVid and .avi to check follow the link

> In reply to reza @ 2011-03-13 14:33 from pX39 - click to readGalaxy ace is a mid range smart phone worth the money u spend.
RAM is 278 MB which gsmarena does not bother to update on the specification why? Nokia uses SDRAM and the others use RAM and most of the time you get 100MB available which is fine on most applications.
the TFT screen is also scratchless and very good you dont need ambient light sensor.
The audio quality is good while receiving and calling and the loudspeaker is medium in mono sound quality.
The battery lasts for a complete day 24 hrs on normal usage. if you are using WIFI/3G/EDGE with downloads then 12 hrs. the interesting part is the last 15% of the battery holds on till the end gives warnings regularly.
the only missing thing is the adobe 10.2 flashplayer which has not been installed with FROYO 2.2.1 i suppose samsung may update after Galaxy S is upgraded to 2.3

> In reply to rahulsuneja @ 2011-03-12 21:13 from vI1r - click to readYou are correct. I did a very big mistake on buying Samsung Galaxy Ace. It really sucks. Poor battery backup, WiFi & Bluetooth doesn't work most of the times until I do a reboot. This is due to some bugs in Android OS, I guess. I strongly recommend that don't go with Galaxy Ace or android mobile, You will not satisfy with the mobile just after one or two weeks usage. I am sure my next mobile device won't be on android.

> In reply to Wizard666 @ 2011-03-11 00:50 from vGtw - click to readAbout the WiFi error, it can be resolved by simply turning the phone on airplane mode then turning it off again. And not all people are interested with games or front facing camera. These people can do without all the features you keep mentioning about the i9003. I have this phone because I can live without these features and I love it because it's enough to keep me updated since I'm online 24/7. And the battery issue? The battery does easily drain IF you are constantly connected to the Internet. My phone lasts for an entire day if I only use it for messages and calls (and an additional 2 hours on the web). And I can afford an extra battery anyway. No biggy. Also, I don't think i9003 is worth its price at all. I'd rather buy i9100 for all high end features. Saving up for one now ü
