i bought galaxy camera just yesterday and im amazed bcoz its not ur regular type of camera with phone its just amazing camera with android.
ill answer ur question:
send sms: YES
install an apps like wattapps: yes
calls: no T_T
other than that,... its a great gadget for me. im a frustrated photographer and i feel like a pro while having this ^^

in my galaxy camera, gallery seems to be full, it says
"not enough space delete unnecessary items, such as downloaded software pictures, and documents" and i don't have much software download even and i don't know how to solve this problem please reply asap

If this does not support gsm calling then it's merely a smart camera nothing else. People don't be optimistic it can't be used as phone/camera hybrid. The 3g facility/sim card feature is for photo/video sharing only.

this is not nearly innovative. it's a step back. I recently purchased a Samsung camera only and it's very disappointing.
This phone seems to be built on the same technology.
