> In reply to amj @ 2014-09-19 15:16 from u4jj - click to readBro,we can't upgrade Samsung galaxy core to Jellybean 4.3 or even to Jellybean 4.2 unless Samsung releases for it...since,we have only two months of support period, hence there is almost zero chance of new upgrades for galaxy core..forget about kitkat or jellybean 4.3....galaxy core will not even get jellybean 4.2.....and remember there is no universal kitkat/jb4.2/jb4.3.....we can only upgrades our phones if the manufacturer provide us...there is a unofficial way...it is called cyamogen mod.it is unofficial os...smartphones can get kitkat by this custom os..but sadly there is no cyanogen mod for Samsung galaxy core. .becoz, galaxy core has some very old hardwares.itz processor, gpu are very old..these old hardwares don't have drivers for kitkat.becoz the manufacturers of these hardwares hv not release drivers for them..so, cyanogen developers are unable to build cyanogen for galaxy core..someboy tried but his cyanogen has no sim detection, no internet, no bluetooth, no gps, no messaging, no calling, no camera...so without these features any phone is useless..if u want kitkat then sell your galaxy core and buy a new kitkat phone

> In reply to amj @ 2014-09-19 15:16 from u4jj - click to readActually it depends on Samsung that they will give apps to sd facility or not...earlier versions of android do not support it..but jellybean supports it...because I had xperia L with jb4.1.2...I was able to move apps in my xperia L....in Samsung galaxy core, there is no secondary partition.thatz why we can not move apps...if Samsung make some modification in kernel they we will be able to do that...but unfortunately, now galaxy core becomes a 1 year 4 months old phone..manufacturers do not provide updates to old phone..we have only two months out of 18 months of support period..after november Samsung will officially abandoned galaxy core.after november we will have no support, no updates

Is there any other option for transfering will it wok if we upgrade it with 4.3 not Kitkat??

Regards

Galaxy core has no future now... you will be struck where you are... because the specifications are very outdated.. the phone can be said 'just overpriced for its specifications now'.... it heats up very much, cannot play even subway surfers smoothly... doesnt have a good battery backup when used on 3g mode... there are many cons... now its only meant for those who just want a touchscreen andriod phone, whom they would use only for calling and some light stuffs like whatsapp and all... and they want a brand like samsung....

I have been totally disappointed by this phone. It is quite slow, although very new, and the battery dies very quickly. I expected much more from a Samsung phone.

> In reply to Shhzd amar @ 2014-09-11 13:42 from U$kJ - click to readMoto G second generation is released..now moto g has no downside. Moto g first generation has no sd card, weak 5 mp camera.people hv complained about it..but in moto g second generation motorola corrects their previous drawbacks...now moto G second generation has 8 mp camera instead of 5 mp, sd card,5 inch display instead of 4.5 inch, latest kitkat 4.4.4 (latest version of kitkat)...itz a very good phone, thatz why it is in 1st rank from its release

> In reply to android expert @ 2014-09-17 14:32 from KAeG - click to readSamsung galaxy core will never get kitkat update because it has the oldest MSM 7×27 platform motherboard and oldest adreno 203 gpu..qualcom snapdragon has not released drivers for them.so, Samsung will not be able release kitkat for galaxy core.
Galaxy core even will not get cyanogenmod.because of oldest hardware, unique RIL(radio interface layer) libraries. .so drivers need to be re written to run kitkat.itz a very tough work.there is no great developer to do this.so, we galaxy core can't get kitkat officially or unofficially.
If you are specification junky and kitkat lover then never ever buy this phone.this phone has no future hope.
If you are basic user, u can go for it.bur honestly, at this phone is not the best one.becoz there are lots of new phones which are much more better than galaxy core

> In reply to amj @ 2014-09-17 09:46 from u4jj - click to readHey bro, u hv some misunderstanding. ...we can not upgrade Samsung galaxy core to kitkat becoz Samsung hv not released kitkat for galaxy core..every smartphone has different hardwares...different hardwares require different drivers and customisation. .so mobile manufacturers customize the android os according to the hardwares of the mobile..so, there is no universal kitkat os..thatz why we can not upgrade Samsung galaxy core to kitkat until Samsung releases for it
