My decision was pretty much blind and I'm so happy I did it. But my decision was based on the dual-sim feature mainly. My Xperia also heated up and was never a smooth ride - some say the machine has never dealt very good with ICS. However, had it for a year and boy do I miss the keyboard.
Now... I'm always listening to radio on TuneIn both via 3G and Wi-Fi and I never felt the mobile heating up - at least not as the Xperia heated anyway. The main problem I had with the Xperia Pro was when using the GPS - heat and crash was guaranteed sooner or later. Not with this one. I believe it's never crashed on me since I have it.
The battery is better on the Core but I'm a very careful user and always dim the light when not needed, use energy smart mode and turn off things like BT when not in use.
On the other hand I always have 3G on, I'm always on Whatsapp texting and check my e-mails every half an hour.
I must say though that with the Xperia Pro my keyboard was always popping out and we both know that it's light goes on when he feels dark so that might have drained the battery even more on that one.
But go for it, you won't regret it.

But I got some questions for you Core user..
How much does Core's battery differs from Xperia Pro's one? How many hours does it last longer?
I've heard from people around here that core gets hot and doesn't run smoothly.. Are they right?
My Xperia Pro is horrible, too slow and never runs smoothly, its battery doesn't last long so I might get Core.
I had many doubts about CORE. But now I am sure - This is a perfect smartphone for usualy users like me. It has all what I want.

Hari, 11 Dec 2013Dear Samsung Core users plaese share your opinion: How good is Sam Core in signal reception? ... morePretty solid. Even on low coverage areas it seems to be always working around in order to try and get signal. I live on a very strong signal range area though and my low sig experiences are only a few...
Ridwan, 11 Dec 2013I have been using this phone about three month's. I feel a problem from the very first time. ... moreTake it to a repair centre. I'm always streaming data, mainly via 3G on the phone, and I never felt it heating up. My old Xperia Pro would heat up a bit when hard downloads were being made and sometimes would reboot but with this one I never felt that.
Superb. That's all I have to say after about a month using this device! Smooth as silk and powerful enough for those who want it for the basic calling and texting plus listening to online music and plenty of gaming. The screen is big enough to watch some series too - I haven't used my 10" tablet since I have it.
It is very stable, no reboots at all even after 5 days on without turning off the device.
I had a Sonyericsson Xperia Pro and I miss the keyboard a lot but in everything else this Samsung overdoes the old Xperia pretty well. And it does everything while carrying 2 sim cards...
Can anyone please tell me how to move applications from the device to the memory card in galaxy core duos? Thanks !

You can use program (framaroot) one click and also cancels one-click for your Samsung Galaxy Core system 4.1.2 and do not work on 4.2.2
