Athaliah, 09 May 2017I just need an honest user review. I am planning to buy a new phone . These are the smartphone... moreM using j7 prime....n I dont play games
TFT display(no comparison with Amoled)
Pathetic In hand feel
Good battery (using 4g 24*7)
Cant think of any other
I dont have faith in Chinese brands So I will recommend you to go for samsung A series even 2016 one..Much better fones
Think wisely if you are going to use your fone for more than a year just go for A series..I own A5 A7 2016 as well n rate them much much higher than j7 prime
A5s audio quality in earphones is way too better than j7prime
Anonymous, 10 May 2017But at at a cheaper cost he is getting a redmi note 4I agree that J7 Prime has its own cons on heavy gaming and so of Mi Note 4. Just check Honor 6X thread where a Note 4 user sold his device after using just 1 month because of 1) battery drain issue 2) poor camera and 3) heating issues. So, saying every time that Mi Note 4 is the best for everyone is not wise. Also I spend around 18000/- to get J7 Prime, at that Mi Note 3 was there. I can also saved about 8000/- by going for it. But I was not looking for hardware only but a complete package which meets my needs and wants. So, next time you advice anyone make sure what is his needs and wants, than advice him. Do not advice him a Mi Note 4 because it is cheap. Cheap doses not mean a proper solution all the time. Take the example of Apple iPhone, is it cheap? The latest model cost around 100,000 Indian Rupees. But still people buys it. Even a 4 year old iPhone 6S cost 15,000/- on flipkart exclusive. But some people still will buy it according to their needs and budget. Regards.

JukaPutha, 10 May 2017Did you use 2 sims ? Yes. I use 2 SIMs. First One is JIO which is a 4G and use for all day mobile data. Second is Airtel now (earlier it is Vodaphone), which bis for talk and message. Regards.
Athaliah, 09 May 2017I just need an honest user review. I am planning to buy a new phone . These are the smartphone... morethe j7's design is also superior than the f1s and lenovo's wirh a fullmetal body finish...looks so premium...
Athaliah, 09 May 2017I just need an honest user review. I am planning to buy a new phone . These are the smartphone... morego for the j7prime...overall its better than the other you have mentioned im using it for 6months and no problems at all...battery is great can last up to 2days with moderate usage (fb, instagram.light gaming) it can also handle nba2k17 in low to medium settings..the f1s also a good choice although j7's display and battery is better f1s front cam is great though...the k6note my workmate is using is a nice phone but the camera is bad...
Shubb, 09 May 2017Why don't u go for mi note 4?He clearly mentioned that he is not a gamer or looking for any gaming phone. Regards.
Cris, 09 May 2017Any updates when it will upgrade to nougat?@chris yes nougat update is planned. It coming soon before the last of year. you can check the nougat callender from samsung for your country
Athaliah, 09 May 2017I just need an honest user review. I am planning to buy a new phone . These are the smartphone... moreAll those choices are good. But judging your usage i will advice you to go for J7 Prime 32 GB (if available in your region), or 16 GB is enough (if you will not use 100+ apps at same time).
Reason: J7 Prime has 5.5 inch big screen but smaller farm factor than the size (My On7 Pro which has also 5.5 inch screen is bigger than J7 Prime). Excellent LPS TFT screen which produces full colour gamut and not heats up fast, also it is easy on eyes. Longer battery life with some advanced feature like ultra saving mode etc, very responsive and effective ExyNox processor which can handle multi tasking with ease and not draining battery fast. Camera is good, if you have steady hand than you can capture very good images. Alos it has a secuority fraturea like S Secure, S Folder and Knox alonv with a LED notification light. Last but not least you can install and use most of the Google or Microsoft apps along Samsung apps like S Focus, S Health, S Note etc.
Cons: Lack of NFC which disables the Samsung Pay. No Super Amoled display which has more brightness under sun light. But again it heats up more and colour looks too saturated (My father has A5 and I can't stand its screen for continuous 15 minutes as I wear glasses and it strained my eyes too much). lack of few sensors like "Auto brigtness", "Compass", "VR" etc; I think they are more gimmick than the feature.
Verdict: J7 Prime has both its pros and cons. I am using if for last few months and never felt any real issues. Excellent choice for any normal to moderate user. Also you can play some casual light games on it. As for camera i have taken few images on my J7 Prime and uploaded them to my Instagram account "kunalmzr". I hope you will see them and will get a idea about the camera. Regards.(also J7 Prime will get Nouget in July officially).
May, 09 May 2017I just bought my j7 prime but a little disappointed because I can't use a screenshot though i ... moreYou can take a screenshot by 2 ways. Either pressing the "Power" and "Home" button for 2 seconds at same time. I use this way as I am a right handed user and compare to earlier galaxy devices where you have to press "volume up" + "Home" button simultaneously, it is easier.
Second way is to use a 3rd party app from playstore. There are lots of apps there which can be use to take screenshot. I suggest you should try few with the ad version and find the best one. Than you should buy the paid version.
But for me the "Home" +"Power" button works. In first attempt you will feel it is little hard. But in few days it will be easy. Otherwise use the 3rd party app you like most. Regards.
KunalMzrGalaxyUser, 08 May 2017You should talk to your service provider customer care. In India it is mostly "0000". But not ... moreI just bought my j7 prime but a little disappointed because I can't use a screenshot though i used the powerkey or homekey.. others features were okey except that one, I hope you could help me , thanks
I just need an honest user review. I am planning to buy a new phone . These are the smartphones that were recommended that fits my budget: Lenovo K5 note, Lenovo K6 note, Vivo V5 Lite, Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime and Oppo F1s.
I don't consume much of my time on gaming, perhaps 1-2 hrs is okay. I listen to music and download a lot and I love downloading apps and customizing. Not fun of selfie but I like taking pictures too but not doing this many times in a day.
Any recommendation or suggestion is highly appreciated.
Thank you all!
It is worst in gaming permomance but nice phone best camera with best quality and it is cheap so .
Best phone ever used great in gaming, no lags, great camera shot, superb sound quality, super long battery life, superb build quality, fast internett just speechless. Best phone in price category must have and try. Worth the money people.
While the competitors are busy in adding on advanced features, Samsung couldn't even think of giving the Screenshot option, the way you can take screenshot so smoothly just by taping that option e.g in a Lenovo Vibe S1. There is no dedicated screenshot option in this phone. You have to manually press the power and home key button as the old age phones. Screenshot is so highly used. There should be an option rather than aiming at 2 buttons everytime to take a screenshot.
