got it a week back.. works really fine.. complete web usage plus music plus calls its gvs a full day battery life...shud have a task killer to kill the unwanted tasks... i'm having a widget in desktop which reduces/increases brightness in a click.. if u want a smart phone at 9k go for it.. if you want batter to stay for 2 days better buy nokia 1100 :P :P.. but if u can spent extra 3k go for lg p500.. (it was my first option before i see this mob due to budget and urgent got this... but now started loving it. its my mobile now.. )

great phones! although the battery life is pretty suck, but it is okay for phone with this price
I prefer this phone than any Blackb*rry phone
android 2.2, support livewallpaper,GPS,tons of free apps

Bought this phone yesterday for 9k.. Been pretty much happy with it.. Having used galaxy 3, i must say this ones right up with it.. The only areas gal 3 scores higher than mini is in the screen (which is more crisp) and in the video player support.. i was only able to play 3gp files in mini whereas gal 3 supports avi and wmv formats..

If you are considering of going for Budget Android phones around 9k,There are only a few models availabe here in india. a) Micromax Andro A60, b)Spice, c)Heuwai IDEOS 80 150, d)Samsung Galaxy

pop. The first two models are cheap china models made by ZTE corp. Build quality is very poor with medicore performance & features. Also lots of bugs. After making a few research i decide to go for Samsung Galaxy pop, I got this for Rs.8,750. Though Heuwai is also good model but lack of service centre near by, Small screen size and poor display set me back. After using for a couple of days here is the pros and cons of Galaxy pop.

Pros:-
3.2" Screen size (Best in its catagory)
LATEST ANDROID 2.2 FROYO WITH touch wiz 3.0.
3.2 mp cam, Best in its catagory.
Proximatory sensor for auto switch off display.
Auto rotate of UI.
Captivative Screen which is very smooth.
Tons of Apps & Games thru Android market.

Cons:-
POOR DISPLAY RESOLUTION 240X320.
POOR COLOR REPRODUCTION ONLY 256K.
POOR BATTERY LIFE MAX 1 DAY IN NORMAL USAGE.
NO FLASH IN CAMERA.
MUSIC QUALITY IS MEDICORE.
NO SUPPORT FOR LIVE WALL PAPERS.
NO ADOBE FLASH SUPPORT IN THE BROWSER.
FULL PLASTIC BODY PRONE TO DAMAGE.

Yes as said by many, Battery seems to be draining more than it should be, but its common with li-ion cell in initial phase, will pick-up its pace after 8-10 full recharges, will give a try and put some reviews here later.... but switching off Edge and brightness you can drag till 1.5days (approx)

I downloaded a font named armani and some of the UI has really improved, the cutting edge and sharper text seems to have a lil blend and smoothness now.
